Like most all-day dining restaurants in a five-star hotel, M Café serves up a menu that covers American, Indian, European and a bit of Asian food. For a quick yet wholesome meal, the club sandwich is a popular choice, or you could try the Marriott burger. If you are going for a longer meal, try the honey glazed baby back ribs, served with mashed potatoes and salad. They also have an Indian menu from which you could try something as basic as the Goan prawn curry. And for those whole like simple Italian food, M Café makes a decent aglio e olio as well.
Went to M-cafe on Valentine's day night for dinner buffet. We were completely let down by the service. With Marriot's branding I expected best of service,s but ended up in having worst from a 5-star hotel. 1. Had to ask multiple times for a child seat or sofa for our toddler 2. We were not offered for any of the rotis/breads like Naan or roti. 3. On the live counter, ordered Bajjis/vadas and stuffed parathas, which never came to our table. Had to remind them again after 30 minutes or so and we received just one of the two parathas we ordered after the reminder and the second came after we were having desserts. 4. The special dinner buffet for valentine's day included a price tag for wine (598 or so for two people) which we did not have. Final bill included the wine price and we were never offered any Mocktails or juices in replacement of wine. Only after asking explicitly for juice, they offered a canned juice that too came when we were walking out which could not be consumed again. 5. Food varieties were not that good either for the Vegetarians. There was a live barbeque which literally had a sign "if you don't eat meat, dont show up". This is so mean. Would never come here again. For the huge price we paid, we received worst service :(
Booked a table for Valentines Day. We were surprised to see almost non-veg starters. Pakoras was all we could have. We found the service was not up to the mark and staff couldn’t care less. Overall, a poor experience for the price we paid.
A wonderful experience, an amazing spread over the lunch buffet with courteous staff assisting you through out, enjoyed my afternoon, special mentions to Vinod for looking ensuring everything was spot on !
Food was alright. Spread of food could have been better. Seafood items were missing. Ambience was great.
Excellent service, very couteous staff. We celebrated our 25th anniversary. Marriott was nice to present us with flower bouquete and cake. Nice gesture.
Hotel industry may be all about stay and service, it gets a lot of attention for its in-house gastronomy as well. For standalone restaurants, five star hotel gastronomy presents quite a challenge as they provide the diners high quality food along with mesmerizing sophisticated backdrop. Even if they are a lot more expensive, they make up for the extreme prices through flawless dining experience. Bengaluru Marriott Hotel is an exceptional place to grab a lavish hearty meal with a colleague or family. The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant ‘M Café’ lures the patrons with its all-encompassing menu and classy fetching décor throughout the day. A diner can stop by anytime of the day or night to have his culinary fill at this 24X7 coffee shop. Their Sunday brunches are exceptionally popular with the regulars.
The breakfast at M Café is quite an experience. From Belgian waffles to poori bhaji, one can go as indulgent as they want. Their menu tackles North Indian, South Indian, American and even Asian cuisines. M Café is an expensive dining spot but if you want top quality then this is the place to turn to. Along with your preferred drink nibble on anything amongst, murgh malai tikka, herb roasted chicken & string bean salad, tawe wali machli, teriyaki chicken & leek skewers, dahi ke kebab, arugula green apple & roasted tomato salad and hari mirch pudina paneer tikka. For a more substantial fare tuck into, aglio olio pepperoncino, Marriott burger, sage roast chicken, appam with Kerala stew, red snapper moilee, five spice chicken banh mi sandwich, honey glazed baby back ribs, smoked chicken & wild mushroom pasta and nasi goreng.
Bring this lovely meal to its rightful end through the desserts such as, kesari rasmalai, oreo cheese cake & wild berry coulis, gulab jamun, sugar free truffle cake, apple tart & homemade cinnamon ice cream and vanilla bean crème brulee. If you like your sweets clean and fresh then opt for a platter of fresh seasonal fruits. M Café takes pride in its appearance, which you will find it to be elegant and tasteful. Sharp contemporary elements are used to define the space and the only note of colour used to liven up the beige is red. Seating style is of course formal and separate private dining spaces are created for those looking for seclusion.
