A chic Italian restaurant, Alto Vino is located on the ground floor of the Marriott hotel. The restaurant has a part open kitchen, which means you can get a pleasant waft of olive oil, vegetables and meats being cooked as you await your meal. In drinks, besides an extensive wine menu, there are some interesting cocktails like the Berry Berry Caprioska or the Purple Passion. In food, try the polpettine or sautéed chicken dumplings, fritto misto (which is batter-fried seafood), Funghi (warm mushroom salad), osso buco with saffron risotto, linguine aglio olio, vegetarian gnocchi, and lamb shank served with saffron risotto among others. For desserts, don’t miss the tiramisu, which is one of the best in town.
