This is one family restaurant that has been a popular favourite among Bangalore’s family crowd looking for ambience and an upmarket feel, without pinching the wallet too hard. Start with the 'Lemon Chilli Squid' – quite well balanced in terms of flavour. The 'Vegetable Peking Dumpling' is a great option as is the 'Prawn Hargau' with its delicate cover and steaming prawns on the inside. Very indulgent is the 'BBQ Pork Spare Ribs' with a sweet and sour BBQ sauce and a touch of sesame seeds. The 'Chilli Garlic Tofu' is a spicy and nice pick. When here, the 'Burnt Garlic Rice' is definitely what you should be ordered as part of your main course. I can make a meal of it on its own. The 'Dan Mein Noodles' are a good option too. Very flavorful and a dish you can definitely order for the kids on its own. Pair that with the 'Hong Kong Roast Lamb' and you are good to go. For vegetarians, the 'Tofu and Mushroom Hunan style Gravy' is great and not one of those run-of-the-mill dishes.
Ginseng Bangalore is nothing close to its Jaipur counterpart. The ambience was dull and unflattering. Food just ok
Nice, quaint Chinese restaurant on level 3 of Orchid Royal Hotel. Kim there is a great hostess and a friendly manager. She suggested a set menu meal which was more than authentic and delicious. The ambiance there needs a bit of an uplift but otherwise the place is extremely cozy and comfortable. Four points to them.
We enjoy the food at Ginseng and is a frequented place. Quietly tucked away in Royal Orchid Hotel, this place is never crowded, offers good ambiance and yummy food. several discount deals available on restaurant booking sites and discount apps.

Ginseng is an excellent East Asian restaurant located inside the Royal Orchid hotel. Generally, this hotel chain is not great for its food but this restaurant really stands out. The best part of it is that they are really flexible to provide vegetarian and even non-garlic/non-onion dishes. The hostess Kim and cook Ganesh are extremely friendly and accommodative. Almost all the dishes there taste spectacular. The shiitake mushroom starter is exceptionally great. Do not miss out the water-chestnut and coconut ice cream for dessert. The whole experience is excellent but also expensive. If you can afford it, this is fantastic.
Love affair with Pan Asian cuisine started decades ago in this country and it is still going strong. The spices, aromatic herbs and delicious sauces have captured our hearts long ago which is the reason why the Asian restaurants in this nation are so many and so beloved. A bowl of steaming rice with hot chilly chicken is anybody’s idea of a perfect comfort meal resulting in abundance of Asian restaurants in the Bengaluru city and the most popular of them is ‘Ginseng’. Ginseng is the ideal family dining restaurant located at Royal Orchid Hotel, HAL Airport Road. The restaurant is visited religiously by the parade of hungry families who consider this place as a family tradition. The deliciousness of the fare certainly helps the matters. The charming traditional décor puts Ginseng on the map of culinary buffs who like to sit and observe the enchanting pieces of the culture around them.
