There are so many aspects to Sly Granny that it will take you a few visits to discover it all. If you are looking to have a quiet evening with the focus on food, make sure to visit during the weekdays for lunch or dinner. The bar whips up a wonderful set of drinks, which are often customised to suit your personal tastes. We began our meal with some pate served up on crispy toast with a roasted tomato dip on the side. With a slightly grainy texture that adds to the flavour, this was a brilliant start. The Baked Brie and Fig Crostini is another good choice for cheese lovers, with the balsamic adding a lovely touch. I love a good Ceviche and the Mixed Seafood one served here does complete justice to the crab, squid and fish chunks that marinate in the citrus base. The Pork Chops with their sweet glaze are quite indulgent as is the Lamb Chops as well. Keep space for the desserts, trust me, you will want to! Make it point to look at the extensive artwork that granny has been stashing around the house. It will give you a lot to talk about when nursing your drinks.
