There are so many aspects to Sly Granny that it will take you a few visits to discover it all. If you are looking to have a quiet evening with the focus on food, make sure to visit during the weekdays for lunch or dinner. The bar whips up a wonderful set of drinks, which are often customised to suit your personal tastes. We began our meal with some pate served up on crispy toast with a roasted tomato dip on the side. With a slightly grainy texture that adds to the flavour, this was a brilliant start. The Baked Brie and Fig Crostini is another good choice for cheese lovers, with the balsamic adding a lovely touch. I love a good Ceviche and the Mixed Seafood one served here does complete justice to the crab, squid and fish chunks that marinate in the citrus base. The Pulled Pork Tacos are a lovely treat and if you would like some upgraded kulchas, ask for the four kinds of stuffed kulchas on the menu and you will be surprised. The Pork Chops with their sweet glaze are quite indulgent as is the Lamb Chops as well. Keep space for the desserts, trust me, you will want to!
I was absolutely blown away by the variety of fantastic dishes on their menu. I found it so hard to choose. Eventually we had a pasta bolognaise, a Shepards pie, Mac and cheese and gnocchi in white sauce. Everything was incredibly delicious. The Mac and cheese was done differently and was a delight. We ended the meal with apple pie and ice cream. Yummy!!
V poor choice for veggies, menu mostly full of pumpkin & aubergine preparations. Desserts choices also not so appealing for chocolate lovers. Nice ambience though.
We visited this place on a sunday morning while transiting through Bangalore on our way to Coorg, and it was an excellent choice! We had some lovely breakfast and cocktails! The Kerala Duck pao, the sausage with bacon gravy and the pancakes, everything was excellent! The cocktails were also very well made and with many to choose from!
we went in here for team dinner and opted to sit in restaurant rather than rooftop.... Ambiance oozes out ancient European vibes and nicely done little things... Amazing and Amazing food.... both vegetarian and non-vegetarian on top of it the service and Mr. Michel made the entire experience awesome.... All the dishes were complete with taste, texture, flavor and what not..... it was superb all the way.... thanks to chef for simulating such minute details and flavors and making awesome dishes... Vegetarian - Tofu, Kurkure Okra, Pita, flat bread, Mushroom, Veg Tart, Masaman Curry, mushroom risotto all excellent... Non-Veg - Scotch eggs, Orange Chicken, Fried chicken, Chiken skewers, Lamb etc.. Deserts - Apple pie, Almond pie, chocolate cake were awesome....
Nice decor and looks quite upmarket and has a very european feel to it. Portions are very small for my liking... but the food is good. Had Poulet (roasted chicken) and memphis style pork ribs, tasted nice, but the portion on the ribs were less.. Overall good
