Experience the wonders of an Arabian night under the stars at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel’s Persian Terrace. Located on the rooftop with entirely open air seating, it includes a mix of wicker chairs and tables, along with a raised wooden deck with cabana style seating. Adding to the beautiful ambience are the Middle Eastern-style lanterns, candles and tea lights that are the primary lighting source as the evening sets in. Choose from the cold and hot mezzes, melt-in-your-mouth kababs and aromatic pilafs. The joojeh kabab falafel, kabob e mokhtalif, shish kabob, hummus, baba ghanoush, chelo kabab, and baghali poli are worth a try. In desserts, the Om Ali is an absolute must-have.
As the name indicates it mainly offers oriental food choices. Food is really high quality but I found it a bit pricey for what you can get at nearby places. I found wines especially expensive, but given the location and environment it's sort of expected.
Nice rooftop view and outdoor gas fireplace. Comfortable seating area and background chill music. Waiters very attentive and brought extra courses a very tasty falafel and later a house dessert. The chopped olive salad was excellent, tangy and a bit spicy. Main course was a mixed kebab that was flavorful although I was hoping for a bit more intense flavor. I ordered an Indian red wine to try it. That was a mistake. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing meal.
I loved the ambience and the food at this place. I would definitely recommend your place to all my family and friends. Thanks Persian Terrace team for spreading smiles :)
I truly enjoyed the ambience and my evening meal @ The Persian Terrace, Sheraton Bangalore. The breeze was subtle and the music soothing... We ordered a delicious stew Khoresht Bamia( lamb and okra stew) was served with three types of rice And The finger licking Sumac Hara kebab ( char grilled skewer of Turkish chilli marinated seer fish). This was served with pita bread. Whilst waiting for our order, we were served Falafel (Crispy patties of mashed chickpea with parsley, sesame seed and garlic, served with tahini sauce) - ‘Twas an absolute surprise with compliments from the chef! It was well cooked from inside and crispy from outside. The service personnel were friendly. Finally, to indulge our sweet tooth, we chose Baklava. On the whole a delightful experience.
This is a quite place with an excellent ambince to just relax and enjoy your food. The service is excellent, the staffs are so welcoming and helpful and I have to mention Mr. Saddam for his service. By saying all these I am not very happy about the taste of the food, the food doesn't have the authentic taste.
