Known for its North Indian cuisine, The Yellow Chilly is located in the Best Western Hotel in Jayanagar. They basically serve cuisine from the North - West frontier especially from parts of Punjab. Interestingly, Sanjeev Kapoor has a lot of signature dishes in the menu. The murgh makhni shorba here is made traditionally with Kashmiri yogurt in a light chicken broth with a hint of saffron. The kali mirch fish tikkas here have depth in taste and are appetizing. The well behaved staff adds to the whole dining experience.
We have spoiled our evening here. Came for almost 10/15 kms to enjoy the taste of Sanjeev Kapoor but the starter/soup and food was the worst I had in my life. I will not recommend to anyone !!
The food quality was good. Place was neat n clean. I went there for breakfast. But nobody likes to wait for the food. Buffet trays was empty. And adequate stuff was not there. Every time personally we called them and ask for order. For omlet they took more than 15 mins. After telling three times they served tea. Their behaviour was too reluctant to bear in empty stomach. Their services were really very poor.
The taste of the dishes is nothing to write about. The presentation of the dishes is very ordinary. The interiors of the place are also not that great. The staff needs more training on how to talk to the customers.
Every dish I ate had a unique taste. The starters was really fantastic. The curries were very very tasty, The rice was good and usual. Overall an excellent meal. Very good service. Pleasant ambiance. One thing is that I found the plates and spoons and forks unclean
I went there for breakfasts during my stay at hotel. Variety of choice available. Many signature dishes of the Mater Chef included in Menu. Good for fine dining. Some cleanliness issue were there which I had pointed out to the staff.
