Who does not love the idea of catching a sporting event with friends or family for company? Add to that sumptuous bites, a lively ambience, live music and you are guaranteed a good time. The concept of a sports bar is not new in the city and there have been some attempts in the past. The most recent one is that of Xtreme Sports Bar and Grill in Sector 22. The location is offbeat since it is not in the usual lineup of restaurants in Sector 26 or 7. But that goes in favour of this place. It caters well to the southern sectors and especially Sector 22, which does not have many cafes or fine diners. Housed on 2 levels, Xtreme Sports Bar and Grill has a fun, casual vibe and the sports theme is hard to miss. There are interesting trivia and posters on the brick wall and plenty of board games apart from a snooker table, air hockey and foosball table to keep you busy as you wait for your order. If you are looking for a place to 'hangout' after a hard day's work, preferably with friends or family, this is a good option. The menu keeps all this in mind and there'\ is a good selection of dishes across cuisines. Some of the appetisers work well as filling main course meals as well. We relished the 'Oven Roasted Chicken Steak' that was very well done and good for 2 moderately hungry diners. There have been new additions to the menu recently and the range of mocktails and cocktails is plump. The newly launched 'Binge Menu' is very pocket-friendly and you can choose from the range of burgers, pizzas, pasta and even sharing platters.
