Curry Town is the new avatar of Minar, Savera’s erstwhile Awadhi restaurant. It retains the ornate charm of its predecessor, whilst adding a bit of kitsch – such as the rickshaw at the entrance. Chef Jugesh Arora aims to bring ‘Ghar and Galli Ka Khaana’ to the menu, which as such is standard North Indian kababs and curries with plenty of vegetarian options. What is really striking though is the setting – ranging from bright turmeric and pink sofas indoors, to wrought iron chairs in the faux lawn under the sky.
