When it comes to Kerala food, there are three basic cooking techniques a food connoisseur must know – porichatu in Malayalam meaning fried, polichatu meaning grilled and ularthiatu meaning the sautéed variety. At Ente Keralam the chefs have mastered all three techniques and bring to you dishes showcasing them. The specialty here is the pearl spot variety that is cooked in banana leaf. Pearl spot is a native backwater fish from Kerala that has a sweet taste and can be called the pomfret of Kerala.
Good food, though above average pricing. Everything was up to par but waiter service could be improved. Enjoyed the crab dish, perfectly done.
Over here ambience is good. We feel like we are in traditional malayali house.the food also makes us to think like that
Stopped by for dinner after scouting for a good half-hour for a decent place without a waiting period. The ambience was good, the service good & fast. The dishes were very very tasty too! All in all, an extremely good decision to stop by!
Worst experience I've ever had.i visited this place with my friends for a treat and I was totally disappointed in terms of the quality of food. None of the dish tasted good. There was literally no flavor or spice in the biriyani that we ordered. Seer fish was salty and almost spoilt.there was not a single dish to which tasted good. Below average food. On the top of all it is very expensive. Kerala food is very tasty. Please do not underestimate kerala food after eating here. I will never suggest this place to anybody.
While staying in Anna Nagar during our recent Easter break we were looking for homely dining and chose this place for dinner one day and lunch on another. Was not disappointed. Good choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, cooked and served inn authentic Kerala style with appams, idiyappam etc.
