Located in Civil Lines, the interiors of this restaurant have a wooden effect with vibrant coloured chairs. The restaurant provides you with both indoor as well as outdoor seating. They offer an eclectic menu at pocket-friendly prices with some unique flavoured hookahs. Feast on Barbeque Chicken, Veg Patter, Butter Chicken Pizza, Manarosa Pasta and Potato-Coriander Burger. Don’t forget to try their lip-smacking shakes- Mocha Hazelnut Shake and Triple Chocolate Shake.
Starting from the food: The Pasta was amazing. The Oreo shake was okay (I've had better! Too much cream, geez). However, the nachos (which they make from scratch) were not at all crunchy and had gone soft (which was a big turn off as I'd heard it was their signature dish). The Blueberry shake (in the Mason jar) was good. Coming to the service, it was very slow (even on a free day). Took almost 30 minutes even for an empty cafe at that time. The staff however was very sweet and made sure we got what we needed. The ambience of the place is nice and quiet. For more, find me on Instagram - @AashnaMalanii
So, I went to 1up yesterday and the whole experience turned out to be wonderful. It is not even a minute walk's away from civil lines metro station. I was really impressed with the ambience, service and food. Ambience was really nice and also had private rooms as well and the service was quick. Coming to food , what I tried were:- Paneer Tikka:- it was so flavourful that I absolutely loved it. The green chutney was just amazing. The best panner Tikka I've had till date. Highly recommended. Chilly Willy Garden pizza:- was delicious, base was crisp with ample cheese and toppings. Loved it. Cottage cheese sizzler with gravy, rice and veggies:- this one was the star performer. Gravy was damn delicious and along with cottage cheese and rice, tasted heavenly. Chocolate coconut shake:- It had the right amount of chocolate and coconut in it, no flavour overpowering the other. Perfect. Virgin Mojito- one of the best I've had. Period. #This cafe has such a chill vibe to it and along with it's amazing food, it makes for a delightful experience.
Well, I haven't been to a cafe worse than 1Up. It was just useless. We had ordered 2 cold coffees and all we got was a milk shake, as they didn't have cold coffee. The waiter didn't tell us that, and just got us the milkshakes.. Apart from this, the bruchetta was bad too. And for such disgusting food and drinks, we paid some 700 bucks. Bad experience.
The place is located at a walking distance from civil lines metro station. The food was good.I went there with my friends .The lighting was just apt.I tried the cheesecake shake. The overall service was good. The prices are slightly on the higher side. There was live screening of the match.
1UP is a cool chic place to hang out with friends and to savour speciality dishes of Italian and Continental cuisines. The place is situated near the civil line metro station, 1-minute walk from the station. It is designed in colonial style architecture. The best part of this place is it has separate sections for sitting inclusive of a sophisticated area as well. Depending on your mood one can choose a seating place. A small bar counter located at one corner. Shakes – 1up Shake – The shake was looking beautiful but was not able to justify its beauty with my camera. It was a thick shake and consists of Blueberries, banana and yoghurt, blended with Vanilla ice cream to freeze you. Food: – Ordered Duo of Paneer Tikka in this 6 pieces are served – Well marinated Paneer with some in-house spices in it. Tasted good and would definitely recommend for the vegetarian. Paneer chunks were big and well marinated and while eating the Paneer was soft too and well baked. Masala Maggi – This was the simple Maggi though the name says Masala it was quite average in taste and in masala too. Dont go on the pics quantity was good we split it into two. Crispy Lotus Stem – The crisped Lotus stem marinated with spices chilli garlic sauce. If the thickness of the lotus stem is little less then would have tasted much better. Burger – The Burger was gigantic. It is more than enough for 1. The thick soft bun with a thick minced vegetable patty in it topped with tomato, lettuce and mayo served with French fries and sauce. Waffle served with chocolate ice cream – The waffle was freshly baked and crispy. It was a perfect dessert to end my Saturday afternoon. The considerate staff makes sure you get the desired services and enjoy every bit of your quality time with friends and family.
