Nestled in the alley is ’52 Janpath’, which is co-incidentally the address of the restaurant. For those knowledgeable few the restaurant is a go to place for superb food and exquisite ambience.
52 Janpath believes in following multiple paths at the same time so their menu reflects just that. Be prepared to be dazzled by the menu which is filled with numerous cuisines spanning across the globe. Everything from American to Thai to North Indian to European to Italian is tackled beautifully here. While soothing live music plays in the background feel free to sip on your delicious drink before hitting the starters. Let a Moscow mule be accompanied by nibbles like, wok fried crispy vegetables, chicken liver pate, wild mushroom arancini, tequila infused chicken tikka, European grilled fish, subz parsi kebab and double cooked Belgian pork belly. Follow that with, penne rigate, hot BBQ wings pizza, three little veg sliders, khao suey, bistro tenderloin fillet medallions, grand mom’s chicken curry, jackfruit pilaf and grilled sole.
Ask your server for the dessert of the day if you feel like something sweet. 52 Janpath is designed on European lines with a spacious villa façade flanked by tall arched windows opening into their charming outdoor section. Inside the restaurant is structured on wooden beams and rustic grey stone floors. On one side is faux river stone fireplace mounted by a deer antler. The décor is stylish, tranquil, rustic and yet chic in a way. 52 Janpath resembles a good looking villa in the heart of the country with floral tapestry and walls made of out stones. Dining in this charming retreat will not cost you much. Spend hours lost in a book or nurse a beer with friends, the place is ideal for any occasion.
