total 9 people went for buffet lunch at the restaurant worst service from the restaurant Food quality was ok however spoiled the entire moodNot at all worth for money
This restaurant did a good job in catering for & feeding the 28 people that we were traveling with as a big group & who all arrived at the same time to be fed. Their attention was good quickly getting us drinks & getting us some snacks before our main meals were brought to us. A variety of seating was available... tables & chairs & lounge type chairs with low tables to eat from & relax at. Food was good & plentiful...and it kept coming til we all said no more!! Lots of steps to get up to restaurant so not disabled-friendly to get into. Highly recommend it as a lunch stop like we had.
Seeing the kitchen with eight people in it and the restaurant with approx 8 waiters on duty I should have known this was going to be pricey. It WAS a choice of our cab driver also so we can see where this is going. Drinks pricey, house wine very poor, food too salty. The mutton rogan looked impressive until I realised it was large bones with little meat. Not impressed, jog on.
Our driver obviously got a better deal and took us here rather than our travel agent recommended restaurant. The lunch was full of tourist coach parties being served unremarkable Indian food in a rush to get back on tour. Zero ambience.
I had biryani, which was served in a clay pot with a baked bread topping. I have had a lot of biryani in my life and this was among the top 5 of being delicious. Service was good, the restaurant was clean. It's up some stairs so hard to get to if you need assistance.
