Ardor 2.1 is serious about its décor which is all about irreverent humour, particularly aimed at Bollywood. Despite that, framed images attest to the fact that everyone from Sunny Leone to Randeep Hooda has hot-footed to this restaurant at some point in its gastronomic journey. While the sprawling lounge is appointed with plush leather sofas and a well-stocked bar, the dining area can be seen packed with classic high-backed chairs with vibrant floral upholstery. The menu is chock-full of dishes of Indian, Oriental and Continental origins with plenty of vegetarian options. A must-try here is the 'Chilli Garlic Prawn' dish that hits the right taste notes with its piquant flavours. Do make it a point to step out into the terrace between orders to get jaw-dropping views of Connaught Place. Although you can not have your meals on the terrace anymore, a breath of fresh air is always welcome
