Bawarchi restaurant first surprised the world in Thailand with its authenticity and flavours. It then made its way towards golf course road, Gurgaon establishing its name in the field of North Indian cuisine. They serve the best North Indian food in the city so do go visit. The restaurant is huge with long tables running at both ends ample for seating large groups. The interiors are lovingly done in tones of brown and beige with the bright upholstery lending the contrasting pop of colour to the room. You can see influence of thai culture in pretty wall motifs. The casual elegance of the place is ideal for family dinners and special occasion celebrations. Though the location is slightly hard to find the restaurant will make up for it in ambience and wonderful food. The menu offers Chinese cuisine too but their main focus is North Indian food.
The menu at Bawarchi is limited but packs all the crowd pleasing dishes. The take-off happens with tandoor se section. Starters such as afghani murg, kalmi kebab, galouti kebab, tandoori murg, dahi ke kebab, bharwan paneer tikka, tandoori jhinga, bharwan aloo, tandoori kumbh, murgh malai kebab, tandoori chaap, ajwaini macchli tikka and subz seekh kebab. If you are with a party of more than two than opt for veg and non-veg platters. For mains the menu covers curries with multiple proteins. Murgh mussullum, rahra gosht, kadhai macchi, jhinga masala, Kashmiri dum aloo, dahiwale aloo, rogan josh, murgh makhanwala, dhingri matter and saag gosht all are made superbly. The paneer section has paneer makhani, saag paneer, pudina malai kofta, kadhai paneer and paneer butter masala. The Indian flatbreads are ideal to soak up the curry. You will have pudina paratha, laccha paratha, butter naan, tomato garlic naan, garlic naan and tandoori or missi roti.
For rice fans the menu shows biryani in mutton, chicken and vegetable variant. To talk about the Chinese part of the menu, all-time favourites are featured here. Chilli chicken dry, salt ‘n’ pepper vegetables, crispy honey chilli potatoes, chilli paneer, chilli mushrooms, chicken fried rice, veg Manchurian and chicken 65 can be ordered without delay. The food of the Bawarchi is wonderful and full of flavour. The ambience is traditional at the same time will remind of their Thai history. Service also has an important part to make an evening successful. The servers here are always smiling and the manager will bestow on you his personal attention.
