The décor is cheery with bright posters and graffiti that puts you in a happy mood as soon as you walk in. The simple wooden furniture is like you’d find in people’s homes in Italy making the restaurant even more endearing. Try the Antipasto Misto which is a fine curation of cold cuts such as mortadella, parma ham and Milano salami paired with marinated courgettes, fennel, cheese, olive tapenade and ciabatta. While you may hrrrmph at the pasta selection – the fresh pasta is truly a delicacy here –the tagiatelle Pomodoro and the pesto gnocchi are both light and delicate and are a true treat for traditional pasta lovers. If it is the wholesome Italian you prefer the Filleto di Salmano or the Salmon fillet with roasted potatoes and olives is an amazing choice while the spinach risotto is truly a bang for a buck. The dessert selection is very good with the limoncello meringue pie topping the list followed by Morello Ciocolate and the Tiramisu.
