Old Delhi food lovers would love this place as they serve delicacies that remind you of the authentic Mughlai dishes from the small eateries lined in the dingy alleys of Daryaganj. Situated in Baani Square, it has a separate garden seating and a simple yet contemporary indoor seating. The khameeri rotis here are particularly soft and go perfectly with all the gravy dishes. The scrumptious mutton qorma here never fails to taste good.
Two dishes, Khameeri Roti and Mutton Korma, these are just brilliant. I can eat this combination forever. Couple of days back went with some friends for lunch, and we all had a delicious experience. Food ordered - Mutton Seekh Kebab Mutton Korma Kaleji Curry Khameeri Roti Phirni Everything was just fantastic and the quality of Mutton was very good. It was soft, well marinated with spices and with every bite you can taste the different flavor especially in the main course gravy. Kebab were also prepared well, with the softness was there, cooked and marinated in the spices, giving it a satisfying experience. I would definitely recommend the Khameeri Roti and Mutton Korma combination
This place lives upto its name i.e biryani and qorma. The biryani here is just amazing and flavorful. You'll love the tikkas too. Qorma with the khameeri roti was perfect.
We had been to this place last Sunday evening for dinner. Bani Square is one of our favourite places and we visit quite often for having food at various restaurants there. Biryani and Qorma Express was in our list for quite sometime. And we were fascinated by the food, really. We had ordered Chicken Qorma and Romali Roti along with Chicken Biryani. Each item was awesome. The rotis were served hot, perfect white and very soft. The aroma from Qorma was mouth watering and the chicken was so soft. Gravy was delicious. The biryani was very good and it also had its own classic aroma. It was full of chicken which was pretty unusual when compared with other joints. We ordered a Kilo Biryani which was apt for us. One of the very good biryanis in town, I would say. The staff was so cordial, caring and attentive. They even offered free home delivery at no extra cost for whatever little quantity we order! The price was reasonable as well. We usually avoid mutton dishes but we presume mutton must be delicious too.
Tried and completely loved their Mutton Korma. It is surely a must try for all...and its their speciality too(As the restaurant name obviously suggests). Chicken Tikka and Seekh kebab are good too. Baani square has lots of good outlets and this one is a great choice as it has good seating options too. And do remember to have Phirni in deserts!
I visited this place a while back and was delighted with the variety as well as the taste of dishes that were served.Though I don't prefer anything apart from chicken (in case of non-veg), I tried their Mutton Qorma. And it was a wise choice. The taste was excellent and makes me want to go there again and again.4* for such great qorma...
