The chicken spinach soup was excellent, flavorful, and satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, making it easy to feel full without over-ordering. The food overall was tasty and well-prepared. The staff was patient and helpful, especially when assisting with the kids, which made the visit stress-free. The service was efficient and attentive, ensuring that everything was handled smoothly. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. I am visiting from the United States and was impressed by how accommodating the staff was. I highly recommend this restaurant for its quality food, excellent service, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Good food, mocktails and excellent service. If you are a member then it’s even better with the offers they run.
Keep It up guys ??

Visited Shalom Cafe and had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, with a beautifully decorated interior that made for a relaxing environment. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive vibe of the place. The food was good, offering a nice variety of options to choose from. The Pizza was excellent and delightful, one of the best in town. However, a few minor tweaks, like enhancing the flavour of some dishes and ensuring consistency in taste, could make the experience even better. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing meal and a wonderful place to unwind with friends or family.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. ????

Service is very good. But food is bad. I ordered Jalandhari mutton, it was too salty. Waiter took it back to add some spice but damage was done already. Infact I entered Shalom thinking there will be some Israeli dish but it was same ghisa-pita Italian/punjabi stuff. Sorry brothers. But I will give 5 star for service.

I had a very disappointing experience at Shalom Café in Select Citywalk, Saket. I ordered the stuffed chicken ballotine, which turned out to be a complete disaster — the meat tasted old and poorly cooked, with a texture that was honestly off-putting. What made things worse was the state of hygiene in the place. I spotted small cockroaches crawling on the table, which was absolutely unacceptable for any dining establishment.

When I raised concerns, the staff offered a complimentary dessert in an attempt to make up for it, but even that felt like a token gesture — it was of the lowest possible quality and did nothing to salvage the experience. Overall, I regret dining here and would not recommend it to anyone looking for quality food or a clean environment.

Shalom cafe is one of the arms of Laidback cafe. Their speciality is Lebanese Mediterranean dishes. The cafe is nice and soothing. Service is a little slow while there were not many guests. We tried the minestrone soup which was nice served with a bread stick. Fresh fruit iced tea was good too. There was a dish with baked potatoes that we tried. Dunked in sour cream served with pita bread. It was ok. A basket of dimsums. 8 pieces in different fillings and flavours. Was average. expensive though. Had cappuccino and a cold coffee. These were ok. They make cold coffee with Nescafé powder which doesn’t taste good. We told them at the time of order itself to make it using decoction. Nice seating and quiet. Service is a bit slow. We had a 50% discount voucher that we used here.

Dear Shalom Cafe Management,
I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the poor customer experience I had at your establishment today. My family and I visited Shalom Cafe in Select City Mall with the intention of enjoying a meal while caring for our infant. However, we were met with unwelcoming behavior from your supervisor and staff that made us leave the place without having food.

Upon arrival, we requested to sit at a table where we could comfortably feed our baby while having our meal and the table was vacant . Unfortunately, we were denied this request by your staff and were not allowed to sit at that suitable table. The supervisor and staff members were also rude in their interactions with us, which further added to our dissatisfaction.
As customers, we value respectful and accommodating service when dining out, especially when we have our young child with us. The lack of understanding and empathy displayed by your team towards our situation was truly disheartening and has left a lasting negative impression on us.
I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of their circumstances. I hope that you can address this issue with your staff to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future and that all customers feel welcomed and valued at Shalom Cafe.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and would like to see improvements in the customer service provided at your establishment. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback, and I look forward to a positive resolution and response to this issue.

Sincerely,
AP

This is a nice Mediterranean restaurant located in Select City Walk Mall. Do visit if you are shopping and want to take a break for food. The Mezze platter and ice creams were nice. Pita and hummus are a must-try. Full marks for the ambient lighting.
