Long before the Lite Bite group developed the confidence to perfect its own concepts (Zambar etc.) it borrowed this idea from an international chain. The theme is Mediterranean, from the décor (lots of blue, turquoise, white etc) to the cuisine which takes in all sides of the Mediterranean from Italy (pasta) to the Eastern parts (chickpeas, shawarma etc.).
This is a great place to just hang out with your family and friends or to just go on a date with your someone special. The ambience is nice, staff is polite and food is awesome. We tried three drinks there - Passion lover - MUST TRY. Awesome mocktail with fresh pomegranate n crushed ice. Belgian chocolate shake - MUST TRY. It was thick and had appropriate amount of sweetness to it. Brownie shake - delicious but it could have been thicker. Moving onto the starters, we tried - Veg toast - small cheesy onion, capsicum and chilli toast pieces, they were awesome. Veg patty - small tikki types pakoras, they were soft and crispy at the same time. For the side and main course - Melon jane Mushroom pizza - MUST TRY. Thin crust pizza with a lot of cheese with mushrooms and other veggies. Loved it. Toasty style waffle paninis - MUST TRY. Amazing sandwiches served along with green chutney which was as good as u get at your home. For the buffet, they have 6-7 different types of salads like couscous salad, pasta salad, bugler salad etc. which were all amazing. I especially liked the mint and watermelon salad. 3-4 types of yogurts, i liked orange flavored the best since it was khatta meetha :P . Paneer sabzi - MUST TRY. The paneer was soft and gravy was sweet and spicy. Loved it. Cauliflower - Big chunks of broccoli and cauliflower cooked together in an amazing sauce. The sauce was tastier than the cauliflowers ofcourse :) Veg peas pulao - perfectly cooked rice with peas. Roasted potato - salted roasted potato slices. Really nice. The best part of the meal though were desserts, especially vanilla icecream with thick chocolate sauce - yummy. The walnut brownies were good but could have been a bit softer. As per the occasion of independence day, they served tricolor pastries which were awesome. All in all, i loved the food there, the quantity is good and the food is tasty. The seating is comfy and they have lively setup. :)
Fresc Co is one of the finest place to have Italian food. The ambiance of the place is very soothing and the food is yummy too: 1. Power House Puffed Sorghum and Millet Chaat. With raw mango and onions and pomegranate seeds, the chaat was wonderful. It has a high health quotient which is its USP. 2. Mezze Platter. With an assortment of hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, marinated olives and pickled vegetables, the platter is truly satisfying and filling. 3. The Green Pizza. The 12" thin crust pizza is an overload of veggies and cheese. The crust is well made and so is the final preparation. 4. Classi Mac n Cheese. This was very yummy. Recommended. 5. Classic Lemon Tart. One of the best desserts they have. With a fine balanced flavor of lemon and sweet, it is very yumm. Altogether, the restro is a great place.
Had fancied the buffet at this place for a long time for the spread it offered. You have continental, Arabic and Italian dishes in one place, sounds too good to be true? Alas, it was. Though the spread was alright, everything tasted bland. There was absolutely no stand out dish. It's a mystery to me that such a big restaurant can make such floury and dry pasta or have such unimaginative dessert spread. Servers have to be chased and you are pretty much on your own for any thing you want. The place needs to learn a thing or two from barbeque Nation on how to run a premium buffet that stands up to taste and service standards of the customers.
I realized that I do not like Mediterranean food/Italian at all. Pasta, salads, starters; my tastebuds were expecting lot more taste. It was very basic taste. Out of everything, I hardly remember any dish that I want to taste again. Those who like a bit spicy, dishes full of aroma, they should avoid having the cuisines served here. Dessert section, live pizza was comparatively better.
It’s stand true to its promise The ambience is very good Nicely decored Food is very refreshing with authentic taste from Morocco must to eat Bsbaganoush Tangine veg Lentil Umali etc They have live counter They offer buffets dinner too The restaurant is little pricy but good one The staffs groom up has been done very well n most r from Morocco
Seaside heaven is how I would like to define ‘Fresc co’ at Ambience mall, Gurgaon. The moment you enter the restaurant, feeling of being in Greece hits you. Interiors are done in the way to remind you of everything Mediterranean. Walls are washed with tones of blue and white, a huge picture of Greek landscape runs on the wall. The chairs are white to add to the light airy feel. Open live kitchen stands on one side of the restaurant allowing the customers to be the part of the preparation. The theatrical exhibit of watching the cook adds to the restaurant experience. Nothing like its neighbouring outlet Fresc co has mostly Mediterranean dishes on the menu.
The restaurant starts serving at noon so if you have a hankering for lazy brunch like akoori eggs or French toast then pop right in. Throw in a fruit bowl or Muesli for good measure. Fresh salad or a bowl of hearty soup will fall right in the brunch category. Gorgeous greek salad or good old Caesar salad will do perfectly. Ai funghi pasta made with wild mushrooms, white wine, cream & parsley or shrimp diavola pizza are as good too. Pizzas devising from wood fire oven tasting divine with smoky aftertaste have found a fan following. Their crispy crust and full bodied sauce brings together everything nicely. Pastas are freshly rolled out and tossed with the best of ingredients. To begin the three course meal appetizers make a nice selection. Bruschetta, mezze platter, shish taouk, fish fingers, falafel roll remind us of Mediterranean palettes. The food is doled out by experienced hand. Now to move to the mains section, the second course is versatile and adventurous. Slow braised lamb shanks, chargrilled seabass, Spanish prawns pil pil, forest mushroom risotto, ratatouille in a pot, green pepper crusted salmon, all are unique and delicious.
Fresc co is a jewel in Gurgaon’s culinary scene. The menu keeps away from being boring and offers us a glimpse of Spain, Lebanon, Italy, Greece and France. The sweetness of dessert part entices us with crème caramel, tiramisu, banoffee cheesecake and gooey double chocolate cake. The restaurant is reasonable and very affordable. It’s a good place to try for date night. The romance of Mediterranean will help things along.
