After you have huffed and puffed your way up to the second floor in a tiny building in Hauz Khas Village, you would definitely have a sense of déjà vu – as if you have been here before. Perhaps a little too much like Yeti, it is the Buddhist chants that will help you calm down and order your food. If you are opting to eat Nepalese you must try the 'Nepali Thali' which gives you a taste of all the different kinds of meat and vegetable preps including 'Piro Aloo', 'Rai Ko Saag' and 'Khasi Ko Sekuwa'. For those who choose to go to the 'Tibetan Spectrum', 'The Keema Thukpa' is quite different from what you could have eaten before while the 'Lemon Fried Pork' is an amazing find.
kind staff, generous portions ,clean place, lovely tables, excellent experience!loving it will come back
I had all the momo's on the menu. Veg and Pork momo's were very good but chicken and Mutton momo's were a disappointment. Overall ambiance and staff are very pleasant
Very good food . Lot of varieties for vegetarians too . The climb up those steep steps is nasty . Could do without it .
Its a copy of another nearby restaurant, very average food and service, have been there twice but nothing like the original Yeti food.
In the busy streets of Hauz khas village, I recently discovered a place which has something new to offer from the regular stuffs ..A restaurant with Himalayan ambience, wooden tables , fresh flowers and spectacular view of tomb and lake. They offer the authentic Nepalese, Bhutanese and Tibetan food. We had a variety of food items here like veg momos, vegetable thukpa, veg nepalese snacks platter, wai wai sadeko and aloo sadeko. In dessert we had yomari which was sweet newari steamed . The food was really amazing and were enough to energise my taste buds. In all i had a great experience here and would recommend everyone to try this place as this one has something different to offer.
