If you ask venture capitalists and private equity experts to name a mini-chain of mid-priced restaurants they are happy with, it is nearly always Mamagoto they name. And with good reason. When the first Mamagoto opened in Delhi’s Khan Market around a decade ago, it was the pioneer in the Pan-Asian space offering high quality and largely authentic dishes at attractive prices. It helped that the restaurant was bustling and cheerful and the vibe was happy. Mamagoto has since expanded outside of Khan Market and all over India but the basic principles have not varied: good food, a great vibe, efficient service and affordable prices. It’s success demonstrates that a commitment to quality always yields results. No wonder investors regard it as the chain to emulate!
No gourmet even when dine out clearly displays it, very unprofessional! Few of their dum managers will surely bring the brand down and could make some of their regular people to avoid visiting them.
Mamagoto I love to explore when it comes to food. Why not some #Thai in Delhi India this time. This time it was #Mamagoto What we had: Chiang mai Train Station Noodles Noodle dipped in gravy "It's creamy" and "fried onions and peanuts" sprinkled on top was a magic added to it. Steamed rice Thai green curry It's not everyone's choice as it has coconut flavour and has strong aroma of lemon grass, which everyone may not like. But if you love coconut flavour and lemon grass you would love the magic it does when you take the first spoon and your tongue romances with the flavours ❣️ Crispy chilli potato For potato lovers like me, it's a "Yes please can we start with one" 😜 Crispy lotus stem Please I recommend this "This should be your first order and try and get it on your table as soon as you sit on your table 😜 while you enjoy this amazing delicacy you can take your own time to go through the menu decide what else you want to decorate your dinning table with.! Teriyaki chicken rice: we food lovers won't stop with one or two dish on our table so here we added one more and "Teriyaki Chicken Rice" is amazing. The sticky rice, pokchoi, chicken, sauce trying their best to bring that amazing taste to satisfy our taste buds.! "MaShaAllah" Momogoto - I recommend you.! ❣️ #Delicious #FoodLove #FoodForAGreatKickStart #FoodForExistence #FoodForLife #FoodEnthusiast #FoodForHappyThought #FoodPorn #santoshontheway #globetrotter #globalcitizenNepal🇳🇵❣️ #YouTuber❣️🇳🇵 #aviation #aviationlife #TravelDiaries #TravelwithaStyle #travelphotography #Connectlive #GoogleLife #Googleguide #Letsguide #LifeStyle #goingplacestogether✈️🇳🇵
Mamagoto has a reputation for tasty preparations, and indeed the dinner we had there recently, lived upto our expectations! All the items we ordered were tasty and flavourful. We enjoyed the Kungpao chicken, the Pad Thai noodles, the shrimp rice, in fact everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken momos we had for starters and the basil chicken cups were too good! Service was however very slow, but it was a Sunday dinner, so the restaurant was full. Thoroughly recommend if you enjoy Pan Asian food!
Terrific service . Tasty food .Served Thai and chines cuisine with full of taste. Interiors of restaurant is very creative.
Mamagoto is an amazing place it has great choice of food the Quantity and quality are both good and it also serves nice drinks cocktails and mocktails. Their meal in a bowl is worth trying and their Wasabi Mary drink
Once I heard someone say whenever she misses Bangkok she visits Mamagoto at DLF Promenade Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. This quirky yet casual restaurant has forever changed the face of pan Asian cuisine. The food is out of this world delicious proven by the long queues at lunch hour. The joint is done up in their signature colour yellow with oriental pattern wallpapers. The use of Japanese illustrations adds some authenticity to the place while using quintessential bamboo sketches as background. Wall arts are attractive and amusing looking with pop colours. The view from the restaurant of the mall below adds to another world dimension. The restaurant is well lit making the yellow pop out more. The staff is attentive and music energetic. If you are on a date or meeting try choosing some other place. Mamagoto is high energy and more in the lines of shopping break category.
Food is what speaks for Mamagoto. It is what pulls back the loyal customers all the time. Their wok tossed section is long. They have meat, seafood, vegetarian, chicken, fried, steamed categories. Crispy lotus stem, hot basil chicken cups, chicken wings, crispy chilli potato is in first page alone. Fried starters have things like spicy fried calamari, mixed vegetable tempura, corn fritter balls, rock shrimp tempura. Grill page has soya garlic robata, spiced Asian BBQ chicken breast, and street chicken satay. Grilled seafood/meat has its own components as well. So has steamed section. Asian soups and salads have lifelong fans. But what is most ordered is bowl. Mamagoto has bowls of rice/noodles with your chosen curry like a one pot meal. Teriyaki meal in a bowl is highly appreciated. A Thai lost in hunan is another favourite with spicy Thai lamb with a red curry flavour served on pad Thai noodles. It has all the characteristics to become my favourite too. In curries mamagoto serves Thai red/green curry with your chosen rice or noodles.
Mamagoto’s desserts have caramel sponge cake with toffee sauce, Nutella mousse, carrot cake and delicious homemade coconut and palm sugar ice cream. To drink non-alcoholic cleansers like wasabi mary, cocktails, mocktails, pitchers, beer, rum, whisky, wines are housed too. Mamagoto has making of an expensive restaurant but it isn’t so. In one thousand bucks you can stop missing Bangkok and take home some dumplings too. Win-win.
