Food

Manbhavan

We visited this outlet for the 1st time. They have unlimited Rajasthani thali both for adults and kids. Adults is for Rs 650+ and kids for Rs 380. Thali included dal, punjabi and Gujarati kadi, paneer, parmal, gatte, chach, papad, chutneys, dal bati choorma, roti, missi and poori, kuttu ka halwa, salad. Kadi was not good. Punjabi was Too tangy and Gujarati too sweet. Paneer wasn’t good either. Gatte were ok. Dal and parmal were good. Aam Ras had artificial sugar. Khichri was ok. Dal baati was nice. Choorma was uncooked. Service was ok. Ambience wasn’t good. ACs were not working. Too suffocating. Old seats. Lehsun chutney wasn’t good. Not happy with the taste.

The food in this place is fine and if Rajasthani and Gujarati food is your thing then you'll probably enjoy it. They do unlimited thali, which is what we all tried. I found the food to be of average taste, however, I do believe the menu has a lot more healthy items(hence a bland taste) than your regular Indian restaurant. The unlimited thali is truly unlimited and it's popular amongst the locals.
Service is average and the staff are not particularly attentive.
The place is busy and this certainly revs up the atmosphere.

An acquired taste, I think.

Manbhavan isn’t appropriate as per the name today, since the entry till exit, the atmosphere, service, attentiveness, food Items missing (as shown in the menu). It was totally pathetic, can’t expect of such a restaurant, where person who is captain (wearing white shirt) don’t bother if a customer is having all essentials served in thali or not, we had waited for initially 10-12 mins to get some stuff arced after chaach was given as a welcome drink, the other customers who came late were served before us, food menu items were out of stock, has to replace few stuff with alternative, which could’ve been advised to the customer, total waste (person with a moustache standing outside always) - I’ve also raises this issue with him but he didn’t provide any discount or a heartfelt gesture to compensate. Purely, a man not Bhavan experience.

Superb place for veg lover the food is awesome.
The hospitality is very good you will love it.
The variety of food is very good.
The food delivery from order to you plate takes less than a minute.
Hungry food lovers if you want to try the combination of Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine.
Please go and see it for yourself.
And the rates are very reasonable and pocket friendly.
Must try.

I love Rajasthani food and when I saw this restaurant, I knew I have to try their food.
I am an vegetarian and unlimited thali restaurants always excite me.
When we went there, they greeted us well and then started serving the dishes one by one.
I tried everything but the food taste was only 3.5/5, it wasn’t very tasty and considering that we were paying approx INR 600 per thali.. it was not worth it.

I liked their Dal bati, it was tasty. The churma however was just sweet and not that yummy.

The curries were nice but the roti was dry and there was not much option given.
For dessert.. they gave us moong dal halwa (which he put only one spoon) and it tasted just okay. When we asked for the halwa second time, he brought another moong dal halwa which looked totally different from the one what he had given before. They also served custard, which tasted nice, but I don’t get the custom of serving Custard in an Indian thali.
Talking about snacks, the dhokla was hard and dry, the samosa was okay though.
They served half glass chaach, which tasted well.. and we could ask for more if we wanted.
About rice, they gave us steamed rice and khichdi (I ate gatte wali khichdi for the first time in my life and it was not tasty)

The ambience: they have really good ambience and the place has all the colorful rajasthani vibes, but there is no fun in going to a rajasthani restaurant if the food is not up to the mark.
Service was satisfactory but the food wasn’t. (Especially at this price)

Very homely cooked food and very good taste for Rajasthani and North Indian platter. pure desi ghee halwa and dum aloo, paneer and Dal tasted very nice. Buffet service @650 +gst per person.

We had such a lovely meal at Manbhavan and we left feeling fully satisfied and happy.

1. The staff who served us were absolutely lovely, caring, generous and hospitable.

2. The variety of food we had was fresh and delicious.

3. Most importantly, when we mentioned that we were vegan, they took special care of us and ensured that they served dishes without ghee/butter/curds/buttermilk. They also made them separately for us so there won't be any contamination. For dessert, we had pure amras + jalebi and both of these dishes were vegan ? it had been so long since someone took such good care of us in a restaurant and we left feeling so full in our hearts and stomach.

Thank you so much ❤️❤️

The vibe at this place is something you can't ignore . everyone busy digging into their platter full of food and assortment of dishes . the place sure do give you the typical indian loud and noisy restaurant. Well to be honest the food doesn't really justify the price in my opinion moreover the food doesn't suit my taste bud . The service was good with friendly staff helping me out choose the platter . The atmosphere was of a normal thing in India with noise of people talking non stop. The place is bit congested with lil freedom to move around . Don't give up yet on dropping in at this beautiful place . Go drop in and see if it satisfy you . not everyone has same taste bud .
