Although New Delhi is known for its high-end exclusive restaurants the outstanding Megu restaurant is well known for its superb Japanese cuisine, intimate atmosphere, and highly impressive décor. The colourful and bright ambience of the restaurant is awesome and enticing. The walls are adorned with exquisitely designed layers of traditional kimono fabric. The columns in Megu are made of lustrous white porcelain with unending interlocking rice bowls and antique sake vases. The ornamental bell weighing nearly 500 kg hanging above the luminous Buddha, lends a unique aura to the area. Its shiny white leather seats with high backs, almost eleven feet, create a sophisticated environs for pre-dinner cocktails.
