Based on the curious theme of heaven and hell, ‘Oh My God’ is a pub lounge where one gets to enjoy live music occasionally. The menu is a mix of North Indian, Chinese, Italian and Mexican. Start your meal with 'Spring Rolls', 'Nachos', 'Vada Pao', 'Crispy Chilli Corn'. I particularly liked their 'Tandoori Bharwan Aloo' which was quite well done. For non-vegetarians, the choice is huge with 'Classic Chicken Tikka', 'Country Fried Chicken Wings', 'Tandoori Chicken Naan Pizza' as Chef’s Specials. There is also a choice of Lamb, Pork and Seafood preparations. 'OMG Platters' are quite wholesome and make a good choice to share in a group. You can order your style of pizza with the sauce and toppings of your choice. Likewise, there is a fairly good choice for burgers and kinds of pasta. In the mains, 'Yellow Dal' with double tadka, 'Jaipuria Style Mixed Vegetable', 'Paneer Lababdar' are quite popular items. 'Mutton Rogan Josh', 'Saag Mutton', 'Lamb Chops', 'OMG Grilled Chicken' and 'Thai Red Chicken Curry' are chef’s recommendations. 'Parmesan Crusted Chicken With Spaghetti' is a signature dish, worth trying. Rice is offered in both Indian style and Chinese preparations. 'Dum Gosht Biryani' and 'Egg Fried Rice' are high on demand. For your sweet tooth, try 'Philadelphia Cheese Cake With Berry Compote' or 'Sheer Korma With Rabri'. The bar is well equipped and the mixologist rustles up some signature Molecular cocktails beside the classic ones. I found 'OMG Virgin Mojito' and 'Betel Nut Madira' well-made. The service is not disappointing unless the place is overcrowded.
I have booked the table from DJ and Dance and the person from EazyDiner send me on the day, when they were not playing DJ...my money was wasted cause I went to other club for DJ.
Cafe Oh My God is a wonderful place located in the Inner Circle of Connaught Place. It is a theme based cafe- Heaven and Hell - so right from interiors to the names of the menu items are based on it. It offers thirst quenching drinks and mouth-watering food. The presentation of the food added to its taste. I must mention that the quantity is also good. (Check the pics) The portion size was enough to serve four to five people. The best part of the evening apart from my best friend's birthday was the live music performance by the soulful singer and guitarist Mr. Chetan Srivastava (Hope I have got the right name). His melodious voice, selection of songs glued us to our couches for much longer than we intended to. We tried Virgin Mojitos, Betel Nut Madira (a must try mocktail if you savour paan), vegetarian spring rolls, tandoori bharwa aloo and Corn chaat (the best). Main Course was also equally delicious. Loved the Hyderabadi Parda Biryani. We also bought the cake from here, which was unlike our expectations, really GOOD. Interiors 4/5 Ambience 5/5 Thanks to live Music Value for Money 5/5 Food 5/5 Service - 5/5 thanks to Deepak
The experience was an ok kinda experience. The ambience is average, service was poor, DG guy was good. Played good music with bhangra beats. The crowd was also average. More of a youth kinda place.
This is a perfect place to hang out with friends. The variety is too good with extra taste and music and sitting is just perfect.
Good ambience. The food was prepared as per our requirements . Extremely helpful staff. The quantity was sufficient and food was also good.
A bar is not just a bar. It’s a place of escape and relief where you can let your inhibitions let go. Bars are designed to encourage one to get together with friends and drink yourself into oblivion. And if that’s exactly what you feel like doing, then you are at the right place – New Delhi. The city has an amazing nightlife which comes with smashing bars and spectacular nightspots one can only dream about. The city is a powerhouse of high energy and thrill one gets after experiencing exhilarating evening in Delhi. ‘Oh My God’ is a great place to start living Delhi’s electrifying magic as the pub is a perfect example of what bars in the city are like. Located in the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place, Oh My God is part of a trendy pub-dominated neighbourhood.
The heart and soul of any bar lies in its bar menu which defines its superiority. Hire a mixologist with killer bartending skills and you have a success at your hands. With pulsating live music enjoy Oh My God’s excellent bar stock especially their molecular cocktails. Go with regular beers and scotch if you are a conventional guy. Throw in some appetizers to nibble on alongside from their multi-cuisine menu for that salty kick. Munch on, mushroom galouti, chicken & chives dimsim, exotic veg quesadillas, OMG style drums of heaven, sundried tomato pesto soya tikka, crispy chicken fingers with paprika queso, smoke cheese stuffed shammi kabab and tiger prawn in XO sauce. Don’t fill up on appetizers however delicious they are. Wait for the mains. Try, pizzas, burgers, pastas, curries, noodles and oriental gravies.
Finally to the dessert section which sees the usual suspects like, tiramisu, Philadelphia cheese cake with berry compote, gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream, soft centred chocolate cake with berry sauce, sheer korma with thandi rabri and chocolate squzee cake with chocolate sauce. The name Oh My God hints towards the innovative decor which is based after the divine theme of heaven and hell. But CP’s heaven and hell is more playful and contemporary than the original self. As you walk up the stairs to the bar, a beautiful mural of an angel greets you. Climb further and a gorgeous stylish room done in tones of silver and red meets your eye. Oh My God comes with a lovely outdoor space too. It’s not too expensive either.
