Out Of The Box is that dining destination where the throngs descend when the sun goes down. Diners love to come here in droves to celebrate memorable occasions or to just have a casual evening out with a couple of close friends. The ambience is a big draw here, with wooden frame pendant lamps, faux leather sofas and a strategically placed showcase displaying well-thumbed books, vintage photographs, ornamental glass bottles and other knick-knacks. By way of an ingenious flourish, the menu comes in the shape of a box, opening in both directions to reveal an extensive list of food and drinks. A conversation starter at the outfit are its 'Chicken Wings', succulent poultry that is grilled to order and buried under a sludge of hot, garlic sauce. A piquant 'Nachos Salad' gives it company on the plate, helping your palate to cut through the rich garlic sauce. Cuisines that diners can connect with at the restaurant include everything from Oriental and Indian to European and Mexican. Do not forget to check out the terrariums placed on your table and generously strewn across the restaurant as a means to introduce refreshing greenery into a closed space.
In the hub of central Delhi, the place is nice to sit and have cool drink with friends and chat , visited on Friday evening, fortunate was to reach little early so got a table and had good time sitting with friends and chatting. Location is good, space is good, service is good, prices are OK, food is OK.
Amidst the busy lane in Khan market you will find this place spread across 2 floors. Goto the first floor if you want some light and air, goto second floor if you want dim lights, music and drinks. Tried God father Nachos, Mix Vegetable Red and Hot garlic Sauce with Steamed rice and some Beer. God father nachos which were supposed to be chef’s special were not so special for us. Oriental was definitely lip smacking. Their outside smoking area is super cute. Wish they had some open seating as well. The staff seemed least interested in serving the customers.
We had a labanese mezze veg platter which was outstanding, then a chicken cheese stuffed ravioli in mixed red and white sauce.Again outstanding! Will go there again to try other things. Good place.
Once a great vibrant and a cool place, it has sadly become an average joint. Fast food takes forever to arrive and service has become below average. Or should I say, they only get alert when a SHO arrives and dine for free (seated next to us)! What a waste of owners investment if the team cannot deliver - I would give it a pass unless you wanna grab a deal on Bira!
The place is apt to the name Out of the box. Covering food and specialities for the world over the menu is huge .One can opt for South East Asian, Moroccan, Lebenese, Egyptian, Europene ,Indian and American. Coming to food try anything and one won't be dissappointed. Loved the Mushroom pati which was a good vegetarian alternative to the otherwise traditional liver pati. The flat bread hand tossed meat ball pizza was yumm. The mushroom soup and bohomeian had same look though the bohomeian was a bit spicy otherwise. The chicken and quinua salad with goat cheese was good. In mains opted for the Lamb Shank which was an Indian mutton curry with a huge shank and garlic nan also tried the Mac and cheese which was equally good. The drinks menu is also quite good and pine can opt from a variety of traditional cocktails and mocktail which are all equally good
