Paparazzi is a themed bar situated in Greater Kailash 2 serving North Indian, Asian and Continental cuisine. The ambience is eye-catching and lively. The place is sophisticated and perfect for one to enjoy their time over great food and drinks with friends. One might not want to miss the Corn and Cheddar Spring rolls and the mildly spicy Chicken Dimsums. The Signature cocktail Tommy Lee’s Margarita is a great pick for summers.
A good place tolet your hair down on the weekends. Food is good but the cocktails and drinks even better! DO check it out
You could only expect a "Paparazzi" after a "PCO" and an "ATM". Humoured by the name and intrigued by the offering, I accepted the invite for brunch last Sunday. It was a very hot afternoon and the dimly lit superbly air conditioned restaurant literally felt like an oasis in the middle of a desert. As soon as I entered, I saw a well stocked bar on my right with passionate bartenders skilfully churning out the choicest of cocktails. I am more of a single malt connoisseur but today I had cold refreshing cocktails on my mind and boy I was in for a treat !! A classic margarita set up the stage, which was followed by a mint & ginger fizz and ended with my favourite "Trump's wall Mexican smash" which was a very refreshing tequila based marvel with cooling effects of cucumber & lemon and zing of jalapeños - Loved it !! In fact, I shall be back just for the cocktails !! Coming to the food we had ordered a veg and a non veg mezze platter, a couple of pizzas, some sliders, peri peri chicken tikka and some corn & cheddar spring rolls. All the dishes were nice and were great accompaniments to the wonderful cocktails. The sliders and spring rolls stood out for me and deserve a special mention. For desserts I tasted the gulabjamun cheesecake which was decent as well. On the whole it was a fab experience. I personally think that Paparazzi is more of a place to enjoy your drinks but at the same time the food menu is varied enough to offer you everything you would love to eat with once the alcohol settles in !! I also think the place would have a bit more buzz in the evenings and I aim to go back for one of the theme nights. You should also check it out at the earliest. I see "Paparazzi" becoming one of the more popular night spots of South Delhi in the near future !!
If I could give a rating less than 1.0, I would have given it. This place was dismal. The food is okay. It is not bad, but nothing to write home about. It's dark, so you really can't see who you are talking to. We were there on Thursday night, when they have a sufi qawalli being sung. The group is supposed to be quite good, but in the small space in which they were singing, they produced an assorted cacophony of sounds. It was an assault to the ears, and to the senses. It's one thing to have live music, its another to have it blast the guests to smithereens. Probably that is why most of the people there were drinking themselves silly.
