We had a revisit to this place for lunch. Not much has changed since at this place. The choice of food is limited and is quite pricey. The service though is good but the food is not up to the mark. The daal makhani was out of place and lacked the tinge. The decor is a bit traditional. Since there are not many restaurants at this place it could be a waiting time here. This place is usually for conferences and the attendees hog the entire restaurant when set free for lunch.
We visit first time in park plaza and love the service and pasta here. Nice interior and great service staff specially Manisha took care US nicely
The food is good and fairly priced. Quality is good, though they can increase the choices. overall recommended
We were on a 4 day holiday to the city and enjoyed our stay at Park Plaza. One of the highlight of the hotel is the ground floor Promenade. Good ambience, with good food and great service team. The manager seemed to be ever present and was very courteous. He had a team around him that also provided great service that even from the second day onwards they remembered our room no every time we went in. Amazing!! For the food , it was one of the best butter chicken I ever had. Brilliant. We tried the a la carte and the buffet on different occasions. The food was great. What I really like it is decently priced for the spread. It was not large spread but definitely had what a person needs to eat. And how can I forget the desserts. Gulab Jamun was just amazing. Would definitely like to visit again. And well done to the restaurant team.
Ambience was good and food was also good.Pasta can be made for better with thin speaghatee.Mix Kulcha was superb.....
Shahadra vicinity may not have a lot of attraction for the Delhiets but you will miss onto a fabulous opportunity if you skip Park Plaza Hotel at Shahadra. On the hotel premises lies a wonderful eatery by the name of ‘Promenade’ which excels in serving delicious Indian food. The restaurant is classy and contemporary bursting with vibrant colours which attracts the attention immediately. Décor is tasteful as well as modern in look. You can very gladly bring along your family or friends here to impress them with chic ambience enhanced by the smooth service. You will be waited upon by the friendly staff who will ensure that your experience with them will be memorable. The restaurant is spacious and dotted cleverly with the tables placed at discreet distance to encourage private conversation. Take advantage of their scrumptious buffet if not then stick to their superb a la carte menu.
Menu at Promenade concentrates on North Indian dishes mainly. They do full justice to the authenticity and flavours of the recipes included in the menu. The variety is not extensive at Promenade but they make sure whatever they bring to your table is exceptionally prepared. For starters they dish out raj kachori chaat with citrus fruits, mezze platter, roast chicken and corn salad, roasted tomato and fennel soup, lehsooni murg tikka, Mexican nachos, honey chilli potatoes, amritsari fish, thai chicken satay, herb crusted fried fish fingers, plum tomato & bocconcini salad with aged balsamic and fish n chips. The starters have more variety due to their bar menu. Apart from delicious juicy sandwiches they have grilled river sole, fettuccini with chicken sausage and chicken parmigiana as the continental mains. On Indian front they do well with rogani gosht, malai paneer khas, murgh makhani, tadke wali dal and palak paneer kofta.
Promenade proves its mark with the taste of its mains so it’s only fair that it does the same with the desserts. Try out baked cheesecake with fruit coulis, Mexican banana split, macadamia brownie with vanilla ice cream, raspberry eclairs with white chocolate and zauq-e-shahi which is fried cottage cheese dumplings with condensed milk and saffron. The bar menu gets its fair share of attention. Not only do they stock major labels of alcohol they also mix fantastic house concoctions. Promenade is on the expensive side so keep that in mind when you visit. Give it a whirl and let it amaze you.
