The best part about Shibuya is that there is not a single thing on the menu that you would not want to try at least once. Which is why, you need to make a couple of visits to the restaurant to eat everything. The 'Crunch Chicken Asian Salad' and the 'Spicy Korean Green Beans' and 'Silken Tofu Salad' are both absolute must-haves. For the appetisers, make sure you try the 'Shibuya Tuna Nachos' – wonton wrappers with avocado, tuna and cucumber as well as the 'Bang Bang Shrimp' and the 'Korean Fried Chicken' – all of which are big on flavours. If you are craving dimsums, then you have come to the right place and definitely try the 'Spicy Chicken' and 'Waterchestnut' as well as the 'Pork Gyoza'. Skip the 'Ramen' but definitely, try the 'Spicy Sichuan Fish Hot Pot' and the 'Raisukaree' for a stellar meal.
Making sure you get the right amount of attention with near flawless service, with all the necessary attention to detail is what the team at Shibuya thrives for. And that's been beyond evident every single time that we've been there...and yes, we have been there a fair few many times! Having eaten at one of their first trials / soft launch, we thought we knew what to expect. But that’s where things changed. Only for the better! We repeated the three dishes that were playing on our minds since the trials. And here's how the story unfolded... Truffle & Edamame Dumpling - This one is, and always will be a win-win situation. On-point flavors, with the right amount of truffle oil to fill up your senses wrapped in a near perfect, almost translucent beetroot infused dim-sum sheet. I can still feel the truffle oil. Yum! Pork Gyoza - Well, it doesn’t get any better than this beauty! I ain’t gonna say anything more on this than the fact that I haven’t had a better pork gyoza in the city! Damn! I wanna go back for it as I think about it. Gyudon Lamb Bowl - Brilliantly cooked, sliced lamb, served on a bed of steamed rice, topped with a gorgeous looking fried egg! Break the yolk, let it engulf the dish while you gnaw away at that umami-laden sauce on the lamb, and voila! You’re bound to get a sensory overload! Bacon & Mushroom Fried Rice - Well, there’s fried rice, and then there’s this particular fried rice! I know, I know, now you’re thinking, you can add bacon to anything and it’ll taste amazing! So then, why the hell should I justify myself. Shibuya Honey Toast - With this masterpiece of a dessert...they’ve tricked you into believing that they’ll make this world a better place! Drizzled with a generous amount of Nutella, served with a scoop of banana caramel ice cream, this could well be the wish for the last supper! And frankly my dear, I won’t give a damn! Take a bow Team Shibuya! See You Soon….Till Then, Keep Rocking!!
Definitely recommend this place for the food, service and ambience. The flavours are spot on with such a courteous staff and lovely ambience. We sat near the glass window giving a wonderful view. Truly must try for everyone.
Shibuya is a must visit - period!! The menu is choicely crafted with a flavour for every palette. The food served is not only a visual delight but speaks for itself and the entire team behind shibuya. The service and warmth is like no other in Delhi! I strongly recommend shibuya to everyone and especially those who are passionate about their food.
I have been looking to find a place such as Shibuya for the past year. There are many other Asian restaurants around Delhi, but none quite like Shibuya. I had a variety of dishes when I visited last week and was blown away by how much craft and detail had gone into every dish! The colours, the placement, the freshness, the flavours - the whole experience was wonderful! Also, service was prompt and swift! Please do check out my personal favourites if you're ever there - Korean Fried Chicken (super juicy and crisp at the same time), Bang Bang Prawns (a total surprise), Truffle Edamame Dumplings (rich yummy flavours), the Okonomiyaki and of course the ever enjoyable Gyudon Lamb bowl! PS: DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT HAVING THE SHIBUYA HONEY TOAST.
Heavy rain and gloomy weather had me craving something comforting and soothing, so I headed to Shibuya Food & Bar, and thank god I did! I finally got to try the pork ramen bowl, which I had been eyeing for quite some time and it was worth the wait. My daughter, who was my lunch date, chose the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl and was totally satisfied with it. My meal at Shibuya would have been incomplete without my all time favourite Shibuya honey toast, which was absolutely irresistible and worth every calorie we nonchalantly consumed. Can’t wait until I visit this restaurant next to try out more stuff specially the Hokkaido Cheese Tart.
