If you have the option to start with dessert do so – between the 'B52 Chocolate Jar', the 'Pineapple Jar' and the 'Baked Yogurt Jar', you ought to eat both honestly. But the thing to definitely try is the 'Seriously Toasted Muffin with Ice Cream' – something so simple but absolutely nostalgic, almost like a crispy bread and butter pudding. But if it is something more filling you are looking for then the 'Goat Cheese and California Salad' is just a must-have. Followed by 'Kefir Soaked Chicken' and 'Red Rice Flake Salad' while the 'Grilled Chicken' and 'Lemongrass Skewers' and the 'Zatar Spiced Basa' are both something that needs to be eaten to believe how good they are. If all else fails, then turn to their range of sandwiches and burgers – their 'Tenderloin' is the bomb. And if you are still hungry then it has got to be the 'Bacon Wrapped Chicken' that you must turn to.
The ambience is good and feel like a fine dining restaurant. You will not have to wait for seating as it has enough space plus not that crowded. Their service is good as well, though you would have shell out 10% service charge for the same which is written on menu and entry gate as well. However, you can obviously debate on it. We ordered veg food which was good so not sure about non veg. The price were higher than usual but it is expected as given the location of restaurant and ambience. Overall experience was good
Great choice of food and easy on your pocket Soup + sandwich combo is very filling and it was super yummy. What attracted me to this place was the wall art which talks about old/iconic buildings in Connaught Place and also a history of Connaught Place. This was my second time and will definitely go back again.
We visited this restaurant for Lunch, in Sept 2018. Location - It is easily accessible, in the Odeon building complex, in CP. Ambiance - Nice interiors. Walls are painted with the shop names, brands, items, etc. of the bygone era. It depicts Connaught place, around 30-40 years ago, taking us down the memory lane. Food - We ordered Alfredo pasta, Chicken Schmear Bagel, Quinoa salad and Tuna sandwich. All the items were great in taste. Service - Good service. Overall, a great dining experience!
Had lunch with the family ordered cheese Alfredo pasta with mushrooms as add on along with slow roasted plum tomato soup onion rings a bottle of mineral water and warm Apple crumble for dessert. Food was great and so was the ambience the wall paper in the restaurant shows connaught place 40 years ago it takes one back down the memory lane specially for those who grew up at that time. Prices were moderate all this cost around 1350/- which included gst and 10 % service charges. The only thing that is not good the smile on waiters face vanishes when you pay by card and with 10%service charges you do not tip him.
I visited this restaurant accidentally because we were very hungry and we had to buy something from Croma(Electronics Showroom)next to it so we thought of trying it as we never tried this restaurant so we dropped the idea to visit Social Odeon and we entered in Smoke House Deli,I was with my office colleagues and being Sunday we took a break from office to do a quick lunch and get back to our work. So,as we sat server came and took our water preference and it took him 5-6 minutes to serve water,we were discussing that it seems like they didn't get water supply today or what then finally he arrived with water. And we took his recommendation from menu so we ordered lamb with Chipotle Sauce,A veg burger and salad with some drinks.Server was very rude and arrogant. We discussed that it's better to eat quickly pay n go.Burger was tasteless(I thought to complain about it but frankly speaking After server's attitude we couldn't dare to do it),I could finish my burger n passed it on to my colleagues. And we dropped the idea of having main course,Oh!God what a pathetic experience I never had.
