My bliss lies in the first lustful bite of a ‘mutton Irani kabab’ and at the bottom of a refreshing ‘mai tai’, and sometimes in that decadent ‘mango lassi’, the ‘angaar murgh tikka’, ‘freshly baked breads’, ‘dahi kabab kurkuri’, ‘succulent meats’, ‘shish taouk’ or the last bite of a melt in the mouth ‘gulab aur anjeer ki kasore waali kheer’ and I found it all in a cosy corner of The Grill Mill. The menu touches on delicious food with Chef-Owner Bhupinder Chadha, focusing on innovative flavours and classic dishes; grills being the main focus. Understatedly elegant and generously spaced, with clean lines and a stunningly beautiful community table which turns into a large buffet spread at lunch time; experience here reflects the spirit of the new Indian, who expects good standards of hospitality; in an ambience that is sophisticated, with some amazing music, backed by excellent food and service at accessible prices and the best part is that all age group is comfortable here.
The options available was good but it has some how lost it’s niche by providing something of everything. Earlier the continental section used to stand out. But now everything was a bit flat. The service too could have better.
The food was good with high thumbs up to dal makhni...banta drinking experience was super but the drink was nothing more than jaljeera...no twist no turn! the problem was the poor service levels..it was a prob to call for everything from water to salt to lime n it could take a good time to arrive! It made the whole experience a struggle honestly despite the food being awesomely tasty.
Had lunch with team mates..loved the starter specially veg and the introductory drink was special...
We'll provide a detailed review of the property on various bases: 1. Location: It is located in the heart of Millennium City at DLF CYBERHUB, DLF Cybercity,Gurgaon. It is located under building number 10 and is approximately 1km. from the nearest metro station. 2.About the restaurant: Well, The Grill Mill is a Multi-cuisine restaurant specialising in Asian, Indian, European,Thai, Persian and other dishes. It's a part of the famous North Indian food chain 'Pind-Baluchi'. 3. Ambience: One feels like sitting in an old English style country studio here. The dim lights make the atmosphere perfectly fit for family gatherings, get togethers and official meets. One can enjoy fine cuisines with soft music and a big television screen for entertainment. 4. Food and Beverages: The best thing about this place is it's style and taste of food. Chef Sarjan(formerly associated with Google) and team leave no stone unturned in presenting the cuisines of Asia, Europe, China and Arab in a single plate but with a twist. The chef uses all his experience which he had acquired by travelling globally in making out the best of anything. The signature dishes include 'Mutton Irani' and 'Walnut Tikka'. A wide range of imported liquors are also available. 5. Service and Management: The review is incomplete without the praise of Mr. Manish Joshi's relentless efforts in running the restaurant. He ensures every little precaution and the chaps here are always readily prepared to cater to the needs of every customer. 6. Bottom Line: Overall, it is the best restaurant in Cyberhub for all the grill and barbeque enthusiastic people. The quality of food is worth it's price. The ambience is calm and the spirit of the people in the restaurant is amazing. To conclude, it's a must visit place with family, friends or colleagues.
Had an official get together here recently. Place has a decent ambience. Disappointing stuff was that there was another official function and the dance floor was hijacked by them. In such cases the second function should not have been accepted. Snacks were hot and served aplenty. However the majority were fried rather than being grilled as the name of the place indicates. Had the chicken tikka, fried fish, panneer tikka, fried chicken, dahi papad kebab, crispy veggies, honey chilli potato, mutton seekh kababs. Only noteworthy one was the papad dahi kebabs. Food was just about average, with paneer, dal makhani, mutton, chicken and biryanis. Service was ok with nothing much to write about, possibly the excess crowd did not do justice to the service quality. Personally, I would need cajoling to visit again
The new age Indians are no longer satisfied by mediocre menus and regular predictable decors. Their tastes have elevated after being exposed to global gastronomy and fun innovative gastro-pubs, which brings with them clever gimmicks to keep their punters happy all evening long. This funda is being tried and tested by DLF Cyber City’s ‘The Grill Mill’, which is a happy-go-lucky place with comforting menu and joyful laid back ambience. The Grill Mill is a delightful gastro-pub tucked into the hustle-bustle of Gurgaon, packed with trendy fashionable crowd stopping by for a bite. Try to schedule your visit on a Wednesday or a Friday for there is an excellent band that plays there on those two days. The live gigs keep the energy high and seats always full at The Grill Mill.
Any decent gastro-pub worth its salt will know to keep a fantastic bar menu. At The Grill Mill they too take their booze seriously. Though you’ll have your fill of beers, scotch, wines and rums, do dip into the house concoctions for that killer buzz. Get that kick with a teekhi margarita or a banarsi sun downer, to be soaked up with few savoury appetizers. The Grill Mill’s menu comprises of Asian, North Indian and Continental cuisines. Nibble on, dudhiya gulkand tikki, tofu kung pao, baluchistani mutton chap, smoky chicken shish touk skewers jar, Asian green glass noodle spring roll, nawabi kesari murgh, medley of mushroom crostini, keema kaleji with maska pao and chicken chapli kebab. Feast on their mains as well of, fauji mutton curry, mushroom & truffle risotto, whole snapper with vegetable & mirin sauce, paella Valencia and jaipuria malai makhana kofta.
To pacify your sweet tooth make do with gulab jamun or ask your server for the delicious pastries. But for a truly decadent experience opt for gulab aur anjeer ki kasore waali kheer. The Grill Mill’s a la carte menu is a bit pricey affair so it’s more economical to go for their buffet spread. Chef-Owner Bhupinder Chadha portrays the food in the most basic fulfilling way so it’s comforting to your soul. The interiors are designed to give similar feeling. The décor is entirely dominated by wooden finishes, through the floor and the ceiling. Its rustic yet polished chic at the same time. An ideal place for family get together or hangout with friends.
