With natural plantations inside the restaurant giving it a very unique feel, The Drunken Botanist is new theme restaurant that is living up to the expectations of the guests. The place has some elegant and wizardly-like features like the windows, arcs and a ceiling filled with leaves (artificial). They offer a wide variety of delectable food like ‘Dora Kebab’ - juicy lamb keema kebabs set on Dori and served with Malabar paranthas and shahi chutney and ‘Prawn Tempura Rolls’- served with soy sauce. They also have some fancy cocktails that are available at their bar; ‘Botanist Dates Julep’ - a blend of Jameson whiskey, dates puree, sage and mint leaves, serve over crackle ice is one thing to die for.
The ambience and range of delectable items is only to be savoured and absorbed. Try the beer wheat pitchers ( German wheat particularly) and dive deep into the appetizers. We gushed over the wasabi prawn with a repeat order, lal maas ravioli, Cantonese mushroom etc. Portions are small but then savouring the variety would only make sense then and not to miss the gracious hosts and flawless service 👍
Everything was good. The food, the ambience, the decor, the drinks and the staff. One of the must visit places
The Drunken Botanist is a lively place with fairly decent food and drinks. The ambience is just right for the evening. It has it's own microbrewery and the beer is good and served in perfectly chilled glasses. Would recommend the Wasabi Prawns which are great. Service is quick and polite. We were also served complementary chocolates at the end of the meal. Will certainly visit again.
We visited this evening, and quite by chance. Located in Cyber City, the Downtown Area of Gurgaon, we found the restaurant to be quite unique and innovative. A very nice well laid out bar with a good variety of drinks, with its own Craft Brewery has led to the place getting very popular with the large young population working in the immediate and surrounding areas. The food was impressive and full of new ideas, which means a good chef and team. The service staff were polite and efficient. Top that off with a Manager who is on top of his game. The prices are affordable and the value very good. We suggest a visit , soon.
Surprising to see most tables empty but reserved. No priority to walk in customers. Further all reserved tables are low tables with sofa, wondering that is also a choice for reservation maybe table numbers 😀 or is it a strategy to fill odd tables first 🤨 every other effort goes in vain. Also how long the tables are in n hold I didn’t see a single customer walking while I was in the restaurant.
