A collaboration between the Taj Group and Japanese and American TV's Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, the overwhelming influence here is Nobu, where Morimoto was the first Executive Chef. Expect modern Japanese food, done to the highest standards with fish freshly flown in from Tokyo's Tsukiji Market and sushi made by a Japanese chef specially dispatched by Morimoto. The Taj's contribution to this enterprise has been an extensive vegetarian menu, mainly comprising Japanese-style dishes invented by Chef Hemant Oberoi. Not sure how the Japanese feel but Indian vegetarians love them.
