The name means moon in Kashmiri but there are only faint touches of Kashmir in the decor and menu of this fairly-busy restaurant with very loud live ghazal music every evening. Locals swarm here for the lack of any upmarket hotel in a 15 kilometre radius. Even after the departure of the Hilton management, they’ve continued with the Mughlai, Punjabi and Kashmiri formula. Butter chicken rules the roost here, there’s chicken kali mirch and dhaba meat and tiny tots running around.
