The name means moon in Kashmiri but there are only faint touches of Kashmir in the decor and menu of this fairly-busy restaurant with very loud live ghazal music every evening. Locals swarm here for the lack of any upmarket hotel in a 15 kilometre radius. Even after the departure of the Hilton management, they’ve continued with the Mughlai, Punjabi and Kashmiri formula. Butter chicken rules the roost here, there’s chicken kali mirch and dhaba meat and tiny tots running around.
Enjoyed the lovely meal at zune , Piccadilly .Finger licking Indian food and also I was advised wine by Mr prakash which was altogether different and wonderful. Highly recommend and would love to visit again. Highly efficient staff !
This restaurent is in the Piccadilly Hotel. We ordered Butter chicken, vegetable Biryani, nan bread & rice. The service was good. The restaurent lacked customers & therefore lacked atmosphere. The waiter explained that we could also order off the menu of the Italian restaurent next door. This is a great option if one person in your party wants Indian & another wants Indian The meat in the butter chicken was only ok. The star of the show was excellent nan bread & excellent vegetable biryani.
I appreciate the way Mr. Prakash hosted us and I am very frequent to this restaurant, around 2 times a week. Appreciate the food and efficient service !
The food is good no doubt but the service of the staff was what will make me come back. They were very warm and hospitable. went with family for a dinner evening and came back extremely happy. Keep it up team.
This evening, I ate in the hotel’s Indian restaurant – ZUNE I had a nice fish curry and nan bread. Nice food and service. It cost Rs 946. - £ 11.29. IT IS A PITY THAT MORE PEOPLE DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT but EAT IN THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT, NEXT DOOR.
