Ucci Sushi is a restaurant in the Barsha Heights area of Dubai serving Japanese and sushi. Known for Japanese dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

Me as a Japanese, I tend to be bit picky when it comes to sushi, but honestly this restaurant was nicely beyond my expectations! The taste of vinegar, texture of rice and overall taste was quite close to Japan’s. In terms of fish itself, maybe a bit different but still I enjoyed it :) Considering the price, it is absolutely a good option to have a Japanese lunch here!

Plus it is located in the hotel, the staffs are very professional and kind, the environment is very organized and super clean xx

We really enjoyed the sushi, sashimi and all inclusions. For 109 aed for dinner, it was really a steal. Love the food, ambiance and over all service. The place is really a hidden gem for the sushi fans here in the uae. Come enjoy!

Tried their All-you-can-eat sushi and it was great. The sushi were freshly made and served in a conveyor belt, that made the experience more exciting. Pick whatever you want & eat unlimited. The sushi tasted amazing, the fried ones were not crispy but were good. They also had sides- miso soup, spring roll, Squid & Shrimp Tempura & juices

Review:

I recently had the opportunity to visit a sushi restaurant and would like to share a brief reflection on my experience. What stood out most was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were met with exceptional service: attentive, courteous, and eager to answer our questions. Their attention to detail, such as cleaning the table after each course, was genuinely appreciated.

As for the culinary offering, the menu featured a wide variety of options, and certain dishes — particularly the tempura shrimp — were quite enjoyable. However, I must note that the overall quality of the sushi fell short of expectations. The rice lacked the texture and seasoning that define a well-prepared sushi dish, and the fish, while fresh, failed to make a lasting impression in terms of flavor.

In summary, while I truly valued the kindness of the staff and some aspects of the service, the experience as a whole did not fully meet my expectations. As such, and with some regret, I do not see myself returning in the future.

We always enjoy our sushi nights at this restaurant! ?✨
The place is cozy, and the service is excellent. While the sushi selection isn’t perfect, it’s still good — and the variety of other Japanese dishes really makes up for it. We especially love the edamame, crab salad, dumbling, lomein shrimp, fried seafood, and their delicious soups.

Highly recommended for a relaxing sushi night with family or as a cozy date spot! ???

We had an amazing experience at UCCI Sushi! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine smiles and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff truly care about their customers, and their service was attentive and professional throughout the whole evening.

The quality of the food was outstanding — every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. It’s clear that UCCI Sushi puts a lot of passion into what they do, and it really shows in both the food and the atmosphere.

Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful dining experience. We left with happy hearts and full stomachs, and we can’t wait to come back again!

I came tonight to celebrate my in-law’s birthday and the difference from our previous visits was very noticeable.

The service has clearly gone DOWNHILL. There were far FEWER varieties than before, and during peak dinner hours they seemed understaffed.

What was most disappointing is that dishes—especially sushi—that were previously offered upon request if not on the conveyor belt are now charged additionally.

Considering the price, this experience was not worth it. We will not be coming back again.

Great sushi place, seems clean and autenthic japanese. Apparently alla ypu can eat although wasn't told at the entrance but i was too full when i asked for the bill.
