When it comes to date night, the poolside restaurant, Tiamo, at the Conrad will win you plenty of love and brownie points. The entire space is done up like a rustic resort, with cabanas to lie under during the day and dine under at night. It gets very windy, but that is reason enough to cosy up. It’s no wonder the place is called Tiamo, which is loosely translated to mean I love you. Don’t miss out on the Minestrone Genovese with basil pesto, Mezze Platter and Vegetable Tagine. Raise a toast to your date {be it bae, Mum, Dad or BFF} with some of their cocktails. End on a sweet note with the traditional Tiramisu.

A perfect rooftop setting, with the whole city as your backdrop, Kaze is Residency Road’s newest restro bar with fun cocktails and a microbrewery. You will find a lot of South East Asian and Japanese influences in the food. Firstly, go for the Pork Belly with Raw Papaya Salad. Vegetarians, I would recommend you try the Kyoto Mushrooms with Japanese shrooms. You can sip on to their two fancy looking cocktails which are The Days Of Sakura and Three Minutes Of Thyme. Next, you can try the garlic-rubbed New Zealand lamb chops with salt and pepper followed by Hotate Ebi Kudamobo. Sushi lovers, you will be spoiled for choice here, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Not into sushi? Then pick from a basket of dim sum, gyoza and baozi. For mains, you can try the Pan Roasted Chicken or Six-hour miso marinated and grilled Black Cod. They do have a list of refreshing summer mocktails, do give the minty, salty and made with fresh pineapples — Pineapple Sparkler — a try. You can also try the gin-based Singapore Sling from the cocktails section. For food, start off with the very interesting Nalli Ka Shorba. For vegetarians, there is a spicy tomato and basil shorba.
