Unless you have uploaded an image of your lunch or dinner, worthy of a food porn hashtag, have you ever eaten a good meal? These days, it is impossible to go out for a meal and not take a dozen photographs of your pretty plates or funky decor. The restaurants and chefs are both realizing the importance of Instagram for the average diner and are bringing a game. These are a couple of our favourite restaurants in Mumbai that we think are Insta friendly!
A simple cafe with its green and blue themed decor might not seem like anything, especially when it comes to the gram but one look at their Freakshakes and you cannot resist posting a picture. They really do justice to this Monster Milkshake and it comes to your table like a tall tower of ice cream, sweet, chocolate, brownies and every possible sweet treat. It is a mess to eat but the folks ordering it do not seem to mind, especially, when you get an amazing picture Instagram worthy!

This Japanese restaurant in BKC is best described as quirky. It is an Instagrammers dream with all the bright colours, J - Pop art and delectable plates of Sushi and Sashimi. Almost, every spot in the restaurants makes for a cool Insta picture but their Ramen Bowls are a hot favourite - both to eat and to photograph!
This restaurant was made for Instagram. Both the outlets in Andheri and Bandra are full of colour and quirkiness. The colourful mosaic tiles, bright blue paint and the tilted wine racks in Andheri or then the Jukebox, stain glass windows or pastel coloured walls in Bandra - everything about these two outlets is unique and ideal for an Insta picture.
Smoothie Bowls and Overnight Oat Bowls are a rage all over Instagram. Colourful mounds of fruit prettily arranged to give you some serious breakfast goals. Sequal Bistro in both Bandra and Kala Ghoda make some of the prettiest plates of food, especially, their bowls give you not just a healthy breakfast but a drool-worthy Insta picture.
Its wooden and white interiors and gentle pastel colours make you feel like you are at an adorable Parisian cafe instead of one in the heart of Kala Ghoda. Small Pastries, Quiche and Tarts for a prominent part of their menu and photograph excellently with the restaurant interiors in the backdrop.
Is there anything better to photograph than chocolate? This little dessert spot in Kalaghoda just got a glam makeover and now La Folie has morphed into this incredible chocolate house. The desserts here have always been a work of art, but, they have just taken it a step further. Each plate is beautiful, not to mention, their Artisanal Chocolate Bars that come in their very own funky wrapping. These along with their minimalistic peach and gold decor makes it a super spot for Instagram.
