Many restaurants are ensuring that even if you skip breakfast, their range of dishes might tempt you into stopping by, to grab a quick bite. If you happen to be in and around Lower Parel then these restaurants are the perfect spots to kick-start your day.

This Parsi - Irani cafe themed restaurant is a great spot to pop by for breakfast with their Parsi Choy ( chai ), Akoori ( Parsi styled spiced Bhurji ) or even their incredibly meaty Poros ( Parsi style omelettes that are double fried nearly ). Lots of the usual suspects but they have experimented and come up with some very interesting twists like Masoor Toasties, an Irani style Berry Poha or then the innovative Lagan Nu Paratha which is a traditional paratha stuffed with potatoes and that famous Parsi wedding pickle - Lagan Nu Aachar served with a side of Parsi Stew.

Indigo Delicatessen

For a classic traditional breakfast with pancakes, waffles, eggs, and a warm basket of assorted bread then you must visit the Deli. Hugely popular for all meals any time of the day, Breakfast is one of the best times to visit because its relatively less crowded and the choices are plenty. If you want a more Indian style breakfast then opt for their CousCous Upma.

La Folie Lab 

Without a doubt, this restaurant is one of the best spots for breakfast in the area. Their eggs are just dreamy but that Avocado Bowl With Puffed Rice, Nachni Chips and Goat's Cheese is the best way to kick-off breakfast. Their Soufflé Style Pancakes are also noteworthy especially the Chocolate Espresso one but there is plenty more including fresh croissants and a dedicated Jain menu in case you have specific dietary restrictions. 

Social 

Breakfast at Social is actually available all day and ranges from a variety of favourites like Irani Style Eggs ( a spicy masala filled Parsi omelette), Bacon Loaded Pancakes, Steak And Eggs Kejriwal loaded on a Bagel With Salli or even the comforting Aloo Puri. The best, however, is the Breakfast Trays they serve in various combinations but it is an entire tray that is a fully prepared breakfast to ensure you have had a hearty meal. 

Theobroma 

Breakfast is a treat here at Theobroma which sadly is not available at all at their outlets. While you can always start by nibbling a brownie or cupcake, if you want something more substantial then you could choose from Eggs Benedict or Florentine, French Toast, Pancakes, their own version of Kejriwal which is actually fried eggs on Chilli Cheese Toast or even a full English breakfast.  

Cafe Zoe

Everything at Cafe Zoe is worth eating but to enjoy breakfast when it is not packed with patrons and all that natural sunlight streaming in is lovely. Plenty of eggs, pancakes, homemade scones, French toast and all the other usual suspects. Try their Lentil Pancakes, the one with burrata and veggies is particularly good. If you pop by on the weekends for Brunch around 11 ish you can devour their Croque Monsieur, Pork Rib Burger and plenty of other dishes that will ensure you have a hearty breakfast.
