Do not be fooled by many restaurants masquerading as Italian joints serving substandard meals. There are some incredible restaurants in the city that make fine Italian food and we have picked a handful of them in the Bandra Kurla Complex area to ensure you get to sample some delectable dishes every time you are there.

Botticino at Trident BKC

This is possibly one of the best Italian restaurants in the city, let alone BKC, Chef Ashish Bhasin and his team ensure that you eat extremely well. The Lobster Burrata Ravioli, Rack of Lamb, Twice Cooked Mozzarella or even the Squid Ink Linguini are just a few noteworthy dishes here. If you are looking for a fine dine celebratory mean full of Italian dishes then look no further than Botticino.

CinCin

This newbie is a fantastic addition to a long line up of terrific restaurants in BKC. It is an exclusively Italian restaurant with its own charming al fresco section. They have a detailed wine list but it is their fun cocktails that are more exciting. Food wise you can indulge in some wood fire oven pizza or handmade pasta but it is their Cicchetti ( small plates ) that are the real flavour bombs.

Celini at Grand Hyatt

While the restaurant is not exactly in BKC it is a hop skip and jumps away and its gorgeous Italian food is just too good to not make it to this list. Chef Alessandro is the hotel's most lovable chef and he has transformed Cellini into a hot spot every weekend with their unapologetically Italian brunch every Saturday. While brunch tends to be a family affair, the weekdays are equally busy with diners that can not get enough of his pizza and pasta. He also makes his own style of the popular Aglio Olio Pasta with a buttery sauce that is just unbelievable.

Pizza Express

For a restaurant chain with several outlets across the city, Pizza Express is still the most loved Italian option for many diners in Mumbai. Their Calabrese Pizza and Dough Balls are big hits but despite their focus on just pizza and pasta and lack of any main course, there is plenty to choose from to ensure you enjoy your Italian meal. Pizza Express takes pride in their desserts and their Cheesecake is possibly one of the best in the city.

The Good Wife

This trendy restaurant is a popular spot in BKC for a lazy lunch or then dinner post which it morphs into a popular nightspot. While The Good Wife is not an exclusively Italian restaurant, it has enough Italian choices to make this list. Their 6 Cheese pizza is quite special as is their Bolognese one. The Grandma's Lasagna and the Black Truffle And Chicken Ravioli are also great picks from this menu.
