We have told you where to order it from, we have told you where to dine out at. We have got you covered for your main Christmas meal and all that is left is dessert! It would not be Christmas without a lovely Christmas Pudding soaked in liquor or a moist warm Christmas cake. We have picked some of our favourites across Mumbai city who are putting in that extra effort to ensure you have the tastiest Christmas yet!

Mavs Cakes and Bakes

These guys are really embracing the spirit of Christmas and have a menu that really celebrates the season. Chocolate Cake, Mulled Wine Jelly Sweets ( a superb innovation instead of just drinking mulled wine ), Baked Pears with wine and even a complete Gingerbread House. The traditional Christmas Pudding is a popular item but we suggest trying their Rum Balls or Sticky Toffee Pudding for an equally boozy treat!

Celebrations Fine Confections

Mehernosh Khajotia is the King of all things dessert for most loyal Sobo chocoholics. He has been delighting his customers for decades with his signature desserts and fine liquor chocolates but the real treats are reserved for Christmas. He has his own creation called the Christmas Pud Cake ( the perfect pudding cake mixture ) that is so decadent that you can smell the liquor on the cake before you can even open the box! Orange peel, lemon, cherries, sultanas, his own secret spice mix and a lot more goes into this beauty and it is so fitting for the festive season. He also does Eggless desserts on request.

Lil Miss Greedy

These ladies can whip up anything and it will taste great but for Christmas, they have really outdone themselves. Their steamed Christmas Pudding which has fruits, nuts and spices soaking in liquor and served with a generous layer of Rum infused butter is just magical. If the pudding is too much for you then opt for their Fruit and Nut Christmas Fudge. It is the perfect soft chewy treat which is not a brownie or cake but the perfect festive fudge.

Black Stove Co

This dynamic duo has is mixing things up this Christmas. They have got some interesting desserts on the menu that include Fruity Minced Pies, eggless but certainly not boozeless ( as is described on their menu ), a rich intense classic Christmas Loaf and a supremely rich moist Chocolate Banana Loaf. All these are sinfully good but what we love the most on this menu is their Pink Guava Cream Cheese Flan which has got to be the most unusual way of incorporating Guava Cheese which is a Christmas favourite.

A Pinch Of Salt

For folks that have been privy to Renuka Nandkarni Hattangadi's cooking, they are thrilled that she is now rolled out a special Christmas Dessert wish list. The showstopper is her own signature Christmas Cake that she also does in eggless and vegan versions. There is also a classic chocolate cake with chocolate ganache, date and nut cakes, cranberry almond muffins and more. She is also got an incredibly good classic chocolate chip and sea salt cookie that will have every chocolate lover swooning!

Katys Kitchen

Apart from their traditional Christmas menu what they are really excited about this year is their very own Boozy Christmas Pudding; This pudding is a mix of dry fruits and spices all soaked in brandy and served with a delicious brandy butter. There is a special batch of puddings available with fruits that have been soaking in brandy for the last two years and if you can get your hands on those then you are really in for a treat. You will need to place your order in advance as they deliver only between the 21-23rd of December.
