The Freakshake that made its appearance in Australia has become a global phenomenon and has left everyone craving for these super-sized milkshakes. Thanks to social media and all the drool-worthy Instagram pictures of these massive treats, Mumbai has become a tad bit obsessed with them. Perfect for this sticky weather and an absolute treat for folks with a sweet tooth, we have picked a couple of restaurants in the city that serve the freakiest Freakshakes!
D:OH! – This cafe that has made a serious commitment to milkshakes. The menu has hand whipped milkshakes, adult milkshakes and then their own special Freakshakes. Their signature is the Freakshake which is incredibly indulgent and huge. It is a popular item on their menu and they even make custom ones for different holiday seasons. The last one for Holi was a huge hit loaded with Indian sweets. The Freakin' Pretzel is a great one to try here.
Coffee By Di Bella – This trendy coffee shop has outlets all across the city and while their selection of hot and cold beverages are plenty, the king on this menu are their Freakshakes specially curated to give you a taste of what real indulgence is. The Gold Coast Pretzel Freakshake and the chocolate loaded Melbourne Freakshake are the two that come highly recommended.
145 Kalaghoda – With two outlets in the city, 145 is a popular bar and eatery known for their hearty meals and affordable pricing. There is a lot on the menu that their regular patrons enjoy but it is the 145 Mighty Oreo Shake or the Red Velvet Shake that has everyone swooning for more. Thick heavy decadent shakes with dollops of cream, cake and all the sweetness imaginable. This is what sweet dreams are made off.
Three Chicks And A Bear – Undoubtedly one of the best joints for a hearty burger and fries, this is go-to for folks who want to load up on the tastiest fast food. When you are done with your mac and cheese or chicken wings and are ready for dessert, skip the usual and opt for one of their enormous Freakshakes. Lots of flavours to choose from including peanut butter, blueberries and lots of chocolate but we recommend the Lemon Crumble Shake with fresh biscuit crumbs, lemon tart and lemon curd.
