Woodside Inn has been a favourite with city folk for over a decade now. It is one of the few eateries that is warm and inviting with a menu that never disappoints despite constantly evolving. Designed to resemble an old English Pub, with its dark wooden interiors and comfy booth like tables the entire atmosphere at Woodside Inn is both charming and laid back making it everyone's favourite neighbourhood bar.

Patrons come with great enthusiasm all year round but once a year you will find it hard to get a table without a bit of a struggle because all roads lead to both outlets of Woodside Inn for their annual Beer and Burger Festival.

There have been plenty of both beer and burger festivals in the city but nothing like this one. Every year the restaurant selects a range of gourmet burgers to pair well with beers from across the world. What started out as a creative idea to encourage and introduce international brands of beer had now become an annual event that the city eagerly awaits.

This year the festival has a unique theme and features 12 different burgers inspired by the 12 different Zodiac signs. Each burger represents the characters of a particular zodiac sign and has flavours and combinations that have never been featured before.

Rum Marinated Lamb Roast Burger

The Crispy Fried Chicken Burger with fiery habañero chilli is inspired by Aries, while the Classic Tenderloin Burger represents the always dependable Taurus. Representing the dual personality of a Gemini is the Duo of Waffle Burgers with Pulled Chicken, Shredded Boiled Egg in one and Minced Chicken and a Fried Egg in an another.

Deep-Fried Pork Mince and Jalapeno Burger

Libra is represented with the English Cheddar, Italian Grana Padano and Mozzarella Cheese, Roasted Bell Peppers and Balsamic deep-fried Burger.

While meat eaters have plenty to rejoice over, the vegetarians are far from being left out. Virgo is with a Kale, Spinach, Green Peas and Sweet Potato Patty Burger that comes in a gluten-free plantain Roesti with pickled cucumber ribbons & banana peel crisps.

Vegan Soy Hoisin Burger

Capricorn has a wonderful Miso Marinated Mushroom Burger while the Vegan Soy Hoisin Burger represents Aquarius.

Apart from all the beer at the bar to help wash down these burgers, Woodside Inn has collaborated with the folks at Gateway Brewing Company to create a special Gin inspired brew for the festival.

If you are tired of the tried and tested burgers in the city and are in the mood for a little culinary adventure then make sure you catch this festival.

The Beer and Burger Festival is available at both the Woodside Inn outlets in Andheri and Colaba from Monday 8th July - Sunday 11th August 2019.
