This is the season to be jolly and very soon Christmas is going to be on us. It is a time of indulgence (a quite a bit of overindulgence too). And to kick off the festive binge, gingerbread houses have begun to spring up in some of the star hotels across the city. These life-size (and sometimes bigger) houses are all about that warm, cozy feeling that Christmas can bring in. Christmas at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore is a festive affair every year with the pathway leading up to the hotel brightly lit up with fairy lights. A giant Gingerbread House stands on the 3rd-floor lobby, a testimony to the joy of giving during this season. Guests can make donations per brick of the house by approaching the Front Desk and the proceeds from this go to cheering up the children to Make a Wish Foundation.
