A comfortable nook is all what this café occupies, and yet offers you an annexe where you can grab a book or a magazine from their library and read in peace. A menu that focuses on food from southern regions of different parts of the world, I would be quite happy to sit there, sip on some hot chocolate, and eat a slice of their delicious New York Cheesecake and the classic club sandwich. You can also order a glass of wine here, or choose from their wide array of coffees and other refreshing beverages. I also tried the idli burger – an interesting twist inspired by South India, and ended up liking it!
We had some amazing finger-licking grub at re:cess, Hilton's 24-hour restaurant. We sat in a cozy nook and were served by Mr. Shubham, who was very helpful in meticulously talking care of our needs, all done very professionally and courteously, with the focus on providing customer delight. We loved the Butter Croissant, Apricot Berliner (amazingly full of liquid chocolate), and the Cappuccino was mind-blowing. We also got a perfectly baked multi-grain loaf packed for home. Great experience.
The scrable game initially have me the feel of my childhood. Alongside the Foosball board was energetic, though not liked by my wife much. Then the sandwich was healthy enough for us to fill my empty stomach and the cake. It's worth every penny you spend. Ah the chess gave me goosebumps but couldn't find the matched player. Can't play against my wife, as I knew I can't dare to win against her.
While staying in the hotel I pre ordered 20 pastries to bring to work from Recess as a thank you to my work colleagues. They were ready in the morning as agreed , well packed and the hotel sent a staff member with me on the buggy to my office to deliver them. Truly great customer service. They were absolutely delicious and would recommend any business travellers doing a similar gesture for their work hosts.
We went to re:cess on a Saturday night.. we reached around 11.. it was completely unoccupied.. we ordered for veg club sandwiches and juices .. food was okay! But very pricey :(
A cozy place but is rundown over time and has a patteserie with dry old cakes languishing in the glass counters..thoroughly unappetising as well as unappealing. The waitress was warm and took care of the guests with a smile even at such an odd hour! the virgin pinnacoloda was below average and something needs to be done to fix the place.
