You do not really need to wait for it to get hot to enjoy this sweet treat, but, it certainly helps cool you down. You have got your pick of flavours at every Ice cream joint or restaurant but a few folks are doing things very differently. Move aside     Butterscotch and Strawberry, there are new flavours in town! We have picked some of the most unusual ice cream flavours in Mumbai.


The White Owl Brewery & Bistro

We have put a lot of things in ice creams to come up with unusual concoctions. When a popular brewery is so confident of their brew and adds it to their dessert, it opens up a whole new possibility of ice cream flavours. Bono Boutique Ice Cream

Mumbai, certainly, love its Bacon, but, to find it in an ice cream might seem slightly odd. One bite of Bono's Milk Chocolate Bacon Ice Cream and you are going to find it extremely hard to just have regular milk chocolate again. Keeping with their funky ice cream theme, they have got an outstanding Blue Cheese Honey Ice Cream, though, be warned, it is quite strong and a little goes a long way.

Lemon Leaf

This Asian restaurant has some funky flavours when it comes to ice cream. You can pick from Jackfruit, Black Sesame or even Pumpkin Ice Cream, which is a huge hit. Our favourite, however, remains their unique Beetroot Ice Cream, which is possibly not found anywhere else in the city.

Bina's Homemade Ice Cream

There are multiple outlets for this ice cream delivery joint and some incredible flavours on their menu. Bina's Homemade Ice creams stray away from the classics though they do have a traditional orange, strawberry etc, they have got a range of different chocolate ones ( kit kat, Oreo cookies etc ) and some interesting flavours like Rose Sabja, Thai Red Rubies or even Paan Choco Chips! Our favourites remain the Popcorn Ice Cream or then the Jalebi one.
