Time and again, there is a rise of vegetarians and now even vegans who are more aware of their food and they care equally about the food being tasty. This is our list of restaurants which has some really good kitchens which not only make some great vegetarian food but also make some outstanding vegan and super healthy dishes.
Now, they are not a fully vegetarian restaurant but they deserve a special mention because they serve alcohol and some really outstanding vegetarian fare there can be. Even though the dishes on the menu sound very fancy, they are very true-to-its-heart desi and something that is very well acquainted to our tastes. The Paneer Tikka Rogan Josh is something interesting and very different from what all you vegetarians have been eating, surely inspired by the Mutton Rogan Josh. The seating arrangement and feel of the place, is super premium and allows a fresh breath of interiors and some fab outside seating too.

Plunge - All Day Kitchen & Bar, Koregaon Park, Pune
This multicuisine restaurant is quite underrated and it truly deserves a mention on our list. The seating is very plush and the red lights and comfortable sofas have a nice touch to them. The Khasta Tikki is a nice veggie Tikki, dunked in corn flakes and then fried, perfect amount of crunch, crisp and fluffy when you bite into it. Amongst the soups and chakhna menu, they have this tandoor menu that is fully loaded and has ample of variety for everyone.

They first started off this restaurant with this amazing location right in the heart of the city, where peacocks come and say hello! The service is nice and the experience is rather humbling. The menu is vast and there is massive variety, pizzas, house rolled pastas and the sauces are made under the helm of an Italian chef/owner who has come almost a decade far. The Sun Dried Tomato and Creamy Parmesans Sauce is a great idea. But, if you are looking for something safe and to do with dough, pizza is the answer!

This restaurant has now become a massive hit and it is only been half a decade from the time they first opened. They make healthy vegetarian grub that tastes fab too.
For instance, the Pizzas are made with Raagi base, topped with cashew cheese and then topped with your exotic veggies and some extra virgin olive oil.
For other mains, there is Bajra Risotto, some tofu-based vegan dishes as well, they are largely inspired by the modern European fare. The desserts are guilt free as well, many of them include coconut milk and other sweeteners.

This place is quite awesome, because of the value for money quotient that comes with it. The menu is nice and simple and nothing to go mad about thinking what to order, everything is well mentioned and everything is very well suited for our Indian taste buds. From the tandoor based appetizers to the mains which are very diverse and well done in terms of presentation and even the portion size, there is nothing to go wrong.
