They're addictive, they're the perfect snack and they are packed with flavour. Nachos are one of those dishes that you find on almost every menu. No matter if the menu is predominantly Asian or Italian, you'll be sure to find a portion of nachos listed on almost every menu in the city. Crunchy chips, lots of cheese, spicy tangy salsa are the main ingredients but each eatery adds their own additional goodness. Despite it being so widely available, trying to get your hands on a good plate of nachos in the city sometimes proves quite difficult. To make things easier for you and to fuel those hunger pangs, we've picked some of the best nachos in Mumbai.

JamJar Diner - This quirky cafe in Andheri has a pretty outlet in Bandra and both places serve up a super portion of your favourite nachos. You can keep it simple with their JJ Classic Nachos that come with that winning combination of chips, beans, salsa, sour cream and guacamole or you can jazz it up by adding some grilled chicken or their delicious pulled pork. Either way this piping hot treat loaded with cheese is a winner on their menu.

Three Chicks and a Bear - Kainaz Messman is a wizard with her desserts and Theobroma is a rage in many cities. However, her real genius is highlighted at her second eatery that focuses on satiating your fast food cravings. The USP at Three Chicks and a Bear is their incredible burgers but one of the hidden gems on the menu is their Nachos. You can pick from a basic portion to customized ones with spicy tenderloin, pulled pork, barbeque chicken or refried beans and they're all stellar.

Hard Rock Cafe - Any fans of Hard Rock Cafe know that there are two things that really shine on this menu - the burgers and their nachos. For years this has been the standard order at almost every table and deservingly so because they're so well made. While the traditional nachos are always available, their Taste Of Mexico menu ( which is available till 31st December ) has a stunning rendition of their humble nacho plate. This one comes piled high with chips, salsa, sweet corn, peppers, jalapenos, two types of melted cheese along with the option of chipotle grilled chicken.

Irish House - If you haven't deep dived into the Grande Nachos at the Irish House then you are seriously missing out. This pub has a menu that features comfort food to satisfy every craving but their nachos are one of the most popular items on their menu. Crispy corn tortillas smothered with spicy jalapenos, beans, peppers, sour cream, salsa and guacamole, this large 'Grande' sized bowl of nachos is just the perfect snack.

Sammy Sosa - This one is and old choice but still very much gold. Sammy Sosa has been the only Mexican restaurant that hasn't lost its appeal with Mumbaikars looking for a bit of tex mex. If you think Mexican then this is the first name that comes to mind. The nachos here never disappoint and come smothered in cheese with the toppings of your choice. The chili beans or alfredo corn are great meatless options but the real fun is in the minced lamb nachos.

Cream Center - Truth be told, Cream Centre is not our idea of best by any scope but due to the immense nostalgia one feels when they eat here and for possibly being the first restaurant to introduce nachos on its menu, no matter how unauthentic, it deserves a special mention.
