While one would enjoy a perfect barbecue in one’s own backyard, a simpler- less sweaty option in A/C comfort of the city would be Barbecue Nation. It is situated in Caculo mall. This value for money restaurant has something in equal measure for everyone. Kick off the decadence of an all you can eat buffet offering with a glass of Red or white wine, depending on the meal. For the carnivore choose from a range of prawns, fish or chicken served on the grill at the table and your options lie with Indian, Mediterranean, Chinese or Lebanese preparations. For the meats, try the 'Mutton or Chicken Platters' as well. As for the Vegetarian option, its equally proportioned with 'Paneer, Mushrooms, Corn and Pineapple BBQ Skewers'. Choose a salad with 'Lemon Vinaigrette' or 'Honey Chilli' dressing for the offset of spice. Top it off with a choice of Indian desserts or the continental 'Brownie with ice cream'.
Good for a family get together. Grilled items are really good. Kulfis are really amazing. A must try when you are in Panjim city. Was well attained by Safikul. Look for him when you are in Barbeque Nation Panjim.
This place charged ₹ 777/- for unlimited food with a three course meal. Starters were yummy.Main course was stale, for eg.the pasta was rubbery. And the desserts , though delicious were short in supply. Though it was a birthday cum celebrating results treat and they did make me feel special what with the cake and birthday song playing in the background , I wouldn't want to visit it again!
I went to this place for dinner particularly after reading their ad on MA Road festival(Mohammed Ali Road Festival) during Ramadan. However it was a damp squib because I expected various live counters with fresh aroma of meats and sweatmeat wafting through the air. However there were only two live counters one with chaat and the other with kababs both manned by one chef and the food was not at all tasty as you get on MA road. But I enjoyed the regular stuff such as the grilled non veg items served in a tandoor/grill at your table. The vegetarian fare of grilled pineapple skewers, Cajun potatoes was good bu the paneer skewers needed some work. The pieces could have been smaller. The desserts were also nice. The kulfis ought to be more creamier and soft. Variety and taste of desserts and kulfis are very good. The service and seating is efficient. But the celebration of birthdays and anniversary seems a tad monotonous and forced. Plus it disturbs the patrons who want to have a quiet meal.
i don't think there is anything come closer to barbecue nation if you love non veg food, i usually go there once every 2 week. this place is amazing. specially the fish and shrimps. i just love it. and kulfi section is my favorite. i prefer to go for lunch, as they offer free mocktail.
it is very nice place for barbeque lovers. we liked very much. very at Carnival time. one should try it
