An American Diner in Goa! Conceptualised by Savio Noronha this is a biker inspired resto-bar. The exterior though unimposing and the confines limited, the view of the Patto creek from the verandah is refreshing. Walk up a steep flight of steps to a Harley Davidson and graffiti strewn wall with images of James Bond, Marilynn Monroe, Elvis Presley and the old favourite American muscle car adorning the walls. The menu interestingly resembles a news tabloid keeping you engrossed while the order is prepared. Order from a variety of beer or try their milkshakes and mojitos to wash down a wide range of hot dogs, pizzas, burgers and even meals. For starters, the cheesy chilli fries – a stringy affair is a must to wet the palate. Relish the Drums of Hell, Oh boy! They taste like heaven. The desserts are powered by nicolla, a german pastry chef par excellence. From the Café Brulee, dobo’s torte, cheesecakes, brownies, opera slice and zurgerKirstch it has something for everyone’s sweet fix. The portions are comfortable, the food well thought off and creative.
