The rooftop restaurant at Jalavihar, Necklace Road is themed on the 18th Century British colonial era, with the design of the bar area resembling the old British clubs of India. The colour scheme used is white, with curtains, sofas and the cabanas all using this colour. One section of the restaurant overlooks the scenic Hussain Sagar Lake. Except for Sunday, the restaurant opens only in the evening and offers a-la-carte dishes from different parts of the country like 'Rogan Josh' from Kashmir, 'Lal Maas' from Rajasthan or 'Chicken Cafreal' from Goa. From cocktails try the 'Wild Blossom' which has whisky and red wine. The menu is fashioned like an old British newspaper with old articles and advertisements in it, making it an interesting read while waiting for your food. On Sundays, they have an economical brunch in the afternoon which is very popular.
