Cafe De Bangkok

Overall it was a good experience. We ordered a Tom yum soup, spicy seafood thick soup, mixed seafood fried rice, broccoli with chicken salad and mango sticky rice. The staff were cordial and served the dishes in sequence from starters to main course and finally dessert. Mango sticky rice was delicious and literally“melt in the mouth”.

Cafe De Bangkok, located above Beyond Burg, had been on our list for quite some time. Situated on the 2nd floor, it is easily accessible, with parking available under the building. The ambiance is decent, and the service is satisfactory.

We sampled a variety of Thai dishes, most of which were enjoyable. The sushi and baos stood out, but the Thai green curry fell short of expectations. Overall, it's a decent spot, but given the pricing, it may not be our go-to choice for Thai cuisine, especially with better options available in town.

Avoid at all costs.
Dirty Glasses, not maintained, stained walls were the first impressions.
Soups- served in melamine bowls
Sour and spicy mixed seafood soup- too sour and very very watery
Tom kha- prefer thicker- flavours too subtle.
Pad Thai was below average and so was the Pineapple fried rice.
Khowsuey was average too, condiments were stale.
Prawns Thai had a weird taste to it.
None of the proteins they used were fresh, be it the the prawns or the chicken. Looks like it was stored in the Kitchen Chest freezer for a long long time.

I recently dined at Cafe de Bangkok and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming.

What we ordered:
•	Chicken Wonton Soup
•	California Roll Sushi
•	Sichuan Mala Broth Pulled Beef Ramen
•	Mango Sticky Rice

The food was average in taste. The flavors didn’t stand out, especially considering the higher price point compared to similar restaurants in this segment.

Additionally, there was a mismatch between what was described on the menu and what was actually served. The Chicken Wonton Soup was served cold, which was disappointing.

The biggest letdown was the service. The staff seemed inattentive. To make matters worse, the water served to all three of us had some kind of residue in it, not sure if it was from the water itself or the glasses provided. When we informed the staff about the issue, they simply took the glass away but did nothing further to address it, which left us feeling ignored.

Overall, the experience felt disappointing, especially given the combination of food, poor service, and relatively high prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Me and my friend wanted to experience authentic the Thai cuisine for a long time and was planning to visit cafe de bangkok. Finally got to visit it but unfortunately they were having a power failure and only few dishes from the menu were available. I travelled more than 50km just for this so me and my friend decided to have some food from the available menu. We've tried few dishes like spicy dimsums and mango sticky rice. It was really good. The customer service was pretty good too. They tried to make the customers feel comfortable despite the power failure. We will surely visit again to try more from their menu.

A good place for Asian Cuisine lovers.
Everything was good.
Service was excellent.
All in all a good place to try something new and chill with friends for a while.
Pretty expensive, but that's expected for this cuisine.

Went there to celebrate anniversary with husband. It was a quite Saturday afternoon with not many people dinning which didn't effected the service quality by the staffs. Courteous staff and able to help us to choose the menu from the vast list. The food was good and colourful. Must try their Spicy chicken & celery dim sum, Java chicken Lollipop, Tempura Prawns, Stir fry beef with pepper, Stir fry prawns with mixed vegetables( for those who don't like spices), Burnt garlic coriander chicken rice .And for the dessert Strawberry Bingsu, also ordered Blue Hawaii Lemon and Thai pink milk shake to drink. For two people the bill came to Rs 3700/-.
Only drawback I felt was parking space.

Food was really good and flavors were authentic. We really liked the Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai and Massaman curry. We also ordered the red curry ramen and it was just ok.
